What would you do if you have 1 year of free time and are financially independent?

I would start a new project and continue it soon. A quick product launch will not do anything good. And I think I traveled around the world for a week.

Call it a year! There is nothing better for me than being financially free. Of course, I’d love to build sth else, but there are days to hustle and some to rest 🥂

I would go see the world for one year, all the places I haven't been or wanted to spend more time at. Not for partying or sitting around relaxing, but to see all the amazing creations that man has built throughout history, and all the natural formations that make up our planet. Sure I'd love to work on a bunch of different projects and research, but I think if everyone did that once, they would have a better appreciation for basically all aspects of life. Most people never leave the state or country or continent they were born in, there is an amazing world out there, time to get out of the office for a year.

Build a new business. If money wasn't an issue, I'd probably build something that has bigger potential but would take longer to gain traction/be profitable.

@kissonlin I would probably build something in the budget/personal finance niche. Not quite sure what within that though.

There are so many projects just waiting to be worked on that can't be started when you work full-time. I doubt one year would be enough. So I would use that year to make me financially independent for the following years as well.

I remember that the Chinese singer Mao Buyi has a song called 'If One Day I Become Very Rich‘, and I feel like he really speaks for homebodies like me in this song.
