Will Metaverse succeed in the future?

I'm incredibly positive about it. I think it will be more realistic with AR technologies that use phone as the brain (CPU for processing) to send data to the AR glasses (like normal glasses) rather than running heavy VR gear

Eventually there will be something like that, but I don't think the world is ready for it yet, for many decades. I'm old school (54 yrs). I play immersive games like RDR2, but I still wouldn't wanna interact with people though a metaverse.
