At least two companies have asked me for help with YouTube (they wanted to get started with it).
I see YouTube’s impact in these ways:
Through videos (and real people), you can build consumer trust.
Explainer videos help people better understand both the product and its use.
Video content is highly preferred because it is "easily digestible."
Is your company thinking about creating a YouTube channel, or does it already have one?
How do you present yourself there or how do you want to present yourself? (What topics do your videos cover?)
If you already have a channel, how has it benefited your business?
Feel free to share your company's channel!
not sure any channel is a necessity.
try a few. keep what works, drop what doesn't.
will check out the YT vid tho. thanks for sharing
I think that at least in later stages it could help e.g. with understanding the product. I can see on customer support how people have problems setting up some things so we decided to create tutorials. They are now watched pretty often. So instead of sitting at the customer support, both sides saved time.

P.S.: If you consider to create your own videos or hire someone, I have a quite useful interview with one co-founder of a video editing company (she collaborate with companies from Fortune 500).

– she shared some tips how to create a good video content
– what to be aware of
– how much they earn (so you can calculate what you need to invest into it)
