Would the average user find a password-note manager useful?
Hi, I am a computer science student about to graduate. This means that I am about to take all my financial expences for myself and to do that I will need to find a job, or make my own, which is prefered. So, recently, I started another presonal project of mine which has the potential of generating me some income. I am making a password-note manager desktop application and I am thinking of putting it for sale after finishing it. I would love to see you, people from this platform, to give me some advice as to how usefull do you find this idea and if it has any potential in the market. Or perhaps you might want to share your own experience of marketing your own software either successfull or not and what you learned form it, any kind of feedback is greatelly appreceated. Thank you!

A password-note manager could certainly appeal to the average user, particularly if it offers unique features or superior usability compared to existing solutions. Have you considered any specific security features, like two-factor authentication, to differentiate your product in the market?
@barryzheng568 Indeed I have thought about some security features and mechanics, such as encryption/decryption, that might help differentiate my software from existing solutions. Although, two factor authentication might be a basic safety feature for many application these days, is also a tricky and time consuming thing to implement to an application, especially if you are lacking stuff with experience in that field. In my case I develop this software single handedly using C++ and such a feature will take time and resources to make it into the final build, but I will see what I can do.
