Would I be correct in thinking that this doesn’t work for web pages that exist behind logins? My use case: trying to find a quick way to make a widget with Fitbit data. Can’t get my head around the API, and thought this might be a quick way to display a bit of the web dashboard...
@jsamlarose Hi at the moment logins are not working. But in a coming update that will be in a TestFlight beta soon this will be supported (if you can store the login in a cookie - something like a stay logged in or remember me button)
@arno_app I’m excited about the possibilities for this— could make it so much easier to put useful widgets together without loads of coding. If you need another beta tester, I’m here for you... ;)
Awesome App opening the feature to create web based widgets.
For Germany I created a Covid-19 traffic light widget: https://stritti.github.io/covid-...
Hi I’m Arno the maker of Glimpse 2
I recently released a new app for iOS 14 Glimpse 2 that lets you add any webpage as an iOS 14 homescreen widget.
The initial idea was to resurrect the idea of the OSX Safari Dashboard Widget and glimpse 2 is the result.
The app is pay what you want and anything can be tried out completely for free. If you like it you can consider giving a tip.
I definitely would love to hear your feedback on this.
