THis is a consumer product. And it has been thrust as a business solution to Gsuite users. Google Sync has created a lot of headaches in my company. It fails repeatedly. In fact we have several ongoing escalations with Google now. The app crashes and reconnecting/reconfiguring (delete reinstall) requires choosing a master (local or cloud). As a result we have team members lose (overwrite) either their cloud or local changes. Disconnecting and reconnecting creates dupliicates It does not seem to honor the time stamps - overwriting the local file system with newer modified dates - rendering finding files (locally) by modified dates difficult. - When files are restructured locally (and offline) - it is almost guaranteed to fail. - Our users have anywhere from 15 to 70 gb of local data. We use Gsuite for Collaboration (it rocks). But GSync is terrible. Dropbox and Amazon Sync handle our demands without any failure. Google acknowledges this to be a problem for GSuite users and apparently a Business solution is expected. Until then i'd stay away
