Google Maps Timeline β€” Rediscover all places you've been by exploring your timeline

What was the name of that antique store I popped into the other day? Where was that coffee shop we discovered on our last vacation? Did I drop off the dry cleaning on Tuesday or Wednesday? Answering questions like these used to take some guesswork (and a great memory). But with Your Timeline on Google Maps, quickly revisit things you have done.

Just got a new iPhone and used Quick Start to transfer apps and data from old iPhone but don't see any Timeline events from my time carrying the new iPhone around and taking pictures yesterday afternoon. Is that because I may not have been logged in to my Google account on the iOS Google Maps app while I was wandering around? Couldn't Google just use the geotagged photos I synced with Google Photos to fill in the missing afternoon into my Timeline?

When I click on the link it forwards me to here: https://www.google.com/locationh.... It doesn't give me an option around it, anyone know why?

It's been around for a while, but it's often not used as it's very hidden away. Bonus feature, Google delivers even more accurate ads as they will know exactly where you go and how you spend your time!

Google maps recently made a totally awesome horizontal scroll. If you zoom out enough, try to scroll left or right. You will see that map moves like a globe. I don't get why there is no post on Google maps blog about it, to make developers proud.

This is great! Positive is that You can check later every single step You've taken in your whole life time. Negative is that someone may dig out where have You been. But this really records your life, maybe You can leave this to your child's after p.a..

The Google Map colors has been the sayings from inception allow other colors to be created by the user colors that they want to use not the basic colors that Google put out originally. Personalization is the only thing I can think of where color schemes chosen by the user would make the music more. also add music somehow in the background while driving it's boring just driving all day if smooth jazz was playing in the background of Torrington directions offered by the map I would listen longer I would use it .

Pros:

Ease of

Cons:

Allow for the colors to be changed

Looks like this is only new on iOS.
