Hey there! Nevo, CEO of GoRetro, here to share our latest evolution 🧬 as a sprint management tool πŸ‘ Two years ago, we launched GoRetro to revolutionize remote team retrospectives during the pandemic. Since then we've helped thousands of teams run engaging and effective retrospectives. But we heard our users loud and clear πŸ“£ retrospectives are just the start. The entire sprint process is a challenge which directly impacts their ability to deliver value. That's why we're thrilled to introduce the new version of GoRetro as a πŸŽ‰ Sprint Management tool! πŸŽ‰ Here's how GoRetro can help: βœ… Retrospective - collaborative & effective sprint meetings (also great for sprint reviews and post mortems) βœ… Capacity calculator - gauge your team's capacity when planning sprints βœ… Planning Poker - make task estimation fun and engaging βœ… Sprint Monitoring - keep track of your sprint's progress and identify bottleneck. And more useful tools are coming soon! GoRetro has been helping thousands of teams worldwide achieve their sprint goals faster and on time. I am grateful for the support of our community, which has helped us shape the future of agile delivery. If you haven’t already, try it out for yourself and start running more productive sprints today. Sign up to GoRetro to get a 30-day free trial of our sprint management features. + Only Product Hunt users get 40% off when purchasing a yearly or monthly subscription. Can't wait to hear your feedback and suggestions. Happy sprinting! Nevo P.S. If you want to get a quick look click here: https://app.goretro.ai/invite/78...

Tal Yaari
Looks like a very useful product!
Tali Gueta
@tal_yaari Thank you Tal! We think so too :)
Danny Hadar
Amazing product ! I love the retrospective
Nevo Alva
@danny_hadar thanks!
Eran Abramson
Talking about doing retrospectives right! So much under the hood and perhaps sprint retrospectives CAN be fun? :)
Tali Gueta
@eranabramson they definitely can be! The key is to keep it creative, fresh and think outside of the box. And with a tool like GoRetro you can achieve that pretty easily.

Looks promising guys! May I know if it's suitable also for beginners or just for experienced scrum teams?
Nevo Alva
@or_shani one of the biggest challenges for Scrum teams is to know how to run an effective process. We've built GoRetro to be super friendly and easy to use, with an educational angle to help any level of Scrum teams. Once your team becomes a pro, they can start using data to supercharge their process 🎯
Mehdi Rifai
Excellent product + love how easy it is to integrate to Jira! Congrats on launching on PH!
Tali Gueta
@mehdi_rifai Thanks Mehdi, easy Jira integration was an important product decision, proud of it!
Nimrod Kramer
GoRetro has done it again! As a user of their previous tool, I was already impressed by the effectiveness of their remote team retrospective solution. But now, with the launch of their new sprint management tool, they have taken things to a whole new level! The fact that GoRetro has listened to their users and expanded their product offerings to cover the entire sprint process is amazing. With features like the collaborative and effective retrospective meetings, the capacity calculator, planning poker, and sprint monitoring, GoRetro has given teams the tools they need to streamline their workflow, increase productivity and ensure that they deliver value on time. The new version of GoRetro offers a comprehensive solution for teams to effectively manage their sprints, making it a must-have tool for any organization that wants to be successful in their software development projects. I'm excited to see what other useful tools they have in store for us in the future! Questions for the team: What was the biggest challenge you faced while creating the new version of GoRetro? Are there any plans to expand the features of GoRetro to cover other areas of software development beyond sprints?
Nevo Alva
@nimrodkramer first of all thank you so much for the amazing review! The biggest challenge building a self serve product in my view is how to add more value, yet remain SIMPLE. Having a simple retro tool is (relatively) easy, the product has one goal. Expanding it to more use cases and keep the onboarding and value realization simple is a huge challenge. The next feature we are working on is the Task Assignment tool that enables auto assign tasks to people and provides data driven insights on the quality of your planning.
Oren Hacohen
Sounds like a great boost to engineering efficiency, much needed these days!
Nevo Alva
@orenhacohen thanks Oren πŸ’–
Jim Engine
Congratulations on launching GoRetro @nevoalva ! I love the idea of centralizing all the scrum events and activities in one place, and your tool seems to provide just that.
Nevo Alva
@officialexaking thanks Jim, would love to hear your feedback after trying it out
Lior Kaminsky
I've been running retrospective meetings for a long time and I pretty much do it in my sleep. Why should I use GoRetro?
Nevo Alva
@lior_kaminsky this is great would love to hear more about your experience, sounds like you are definitely a pro when it comes to retros. Our pro users level up their retrospectives with our Joker cards - data driven actionable insights which are automatically added to your meetings, would be happy to show you more.
Galit Galperin
Very interesting but personally I prefer Miro for our collaboration meetings, how is this different?
Nevo Alva
@ggalpi thanks for the honesty πŸ€“ There are actually dozens of teams that came to our product from Miro. Miro is amazing for general collaboration and brainstorming. GoRetro enables you to facilitate and manage your entire Scrum process, no need to find a Miro template, or to build tables to calculate your capacity. I'd suggest you give it a try and would absolutely LOVE to hear your feedback afterwards, even if you decided to stay in Miro.
Anil Matcha
Would be interested to know what is the different from other planning apps available in the market
Nevo Alva
@matcha_anil planning is a complex process as you know, from refinement, estimating complexity, calculating the available capacity and finally optimize the task assignment to achieve the best results. There are tools and plugins that support parts of this process. GoRetro supports the entire process in one solution plus (and that's a big plus), GoRetro analyzes the team's data and comes up with insights and automation throughout the entire process.
Adi Yarden
This looks very interesting. I've been using Jira's planning poker tool and it works great for my team. What is the difference between Jira’s and yours?
Nevo Alva
@adi_yarden thanks Adi. Our Planning Poker feature is built as a team game making it 10x more engaging and fun for the team, unlike in Jira where it is a rather boring and not collaborative process. We found that a major part of making the planning poker estimation more effective (and actually entire scrum process more effective) is by making it fun and engaging. On top of that our data driven features add more depth to the planning and estimation discussions, making them focused and effective.
Ro Mag
Using this product constantly for my team's retro. Increases engagement and makes it way more fun :) Really looking forward for testing the new features
Tali Gueta
@ro_mag Thank you! The new dashboard is already live, but some cool stuff are coming soon :)
Assaf Glazer
Nice tool, looks great!
Nevo Alva
@assaf_glazer Thanks Assaf. hope to see you trying it out πŸ˜‰
Sam Lass
Congrats on the launch love the UI, does it have a migration from other task management software?
Itamar Friedman
In our dev team, we really wanted a tool to manage our sprints and retros. But all existing tools were either too heavy and complicated or too simple and not designated for the use-case. I love what you offer in GoRetro, really seems to nail it on features' offering and simplicity. Can you share more about your roadmap for the next couple of months?
Nevo Alva
@maritamar thanks for the detailed feedback πŸ™πŸ» Next in line we have a Task Assignment feature where based on the team's data you can auto assign tasks, and get insights on your planning (e.g. priority and complexity distribution, developer-component match, etc.)
Itamar Friedman
@nevoalva , have you considered using AI capabilities to summarize tickets, create titles, make suggestions, etc..?
Nevo Alva
@maritamar oh yeah! we have something cooking on this - staring from utilizing LLM to create meeting summaries. One of the things we found is that retro summaries are very important for teams and for managers, they want to know whats going on and what is the sentiment.
This is awesome! GoRetro seems like it could really revolutionize how development teams approach sprint planning and retrospectives. Love that it's data-driven and helps teams monitor their progress towards success.
Nevo Alva
@ming_xu1 appreciate the feedback. we are here for no less than revolutionize how dev teams manage their agile process.
Liz Cohen
Love how Acumen makes it a delight to run and collaborate as a team. Easy to use but also fun and a genuinely smooth experience. Keep it up guys!
Tali Gueta
@liz_cohen Thanks Liz! We believe that the key to collaboration is to make it fun which is why it's a core value to us.
boaz saragossi
Looks great πŸ‘ I’ll be giving it a try!
Nevo Alva
@boazsaragossi let us know what you think afterwards
