Hey there! Nevo, CEO of GoRetro, here to share our latest evolution 𧬠as a sprint management tool π
Two years ago, we launched GoRetro to revolutionize
remote team retrospectives during the pandemic.
Since then we've helped thousands of teams run engaging and effective retrospectives.
But we heard our users loud and clear
π£ retrospectives are just the start.
The entire sprint process is a challenge which directly impacts their ability to deliver value. That's why we're thrilled to introduce the new version of GoRetro as a
π Sprint Management tool! π
Here's how GoRetro can help:

β Planning Poker - make task estimation fun and engaging
β Sprint Monitoring - keep track of your sprint's progress and identify bottleneck.
And more useful tools are coming soon!
GoRetro has been helping thousands of teams worldwide achieve their sprint goals faster and on time.
I am grateful for the support of our community, which has helped us shape the future of agile delivery. If you havenβt already, try it out for yourself and start running more productive sprints today.

@eranabramson they definitely can be! The key is to keep it creative, fresh and think outside of the box. And with a tool like GoRetro you can achieve that pretty easily.
@or_shani one of the biggest challenges for Scrum teams is to know how to run an effective process. We've built GoRetro to be super friendly and easy to use, with an educational angle to help any level of Scrum teams. Once your team becomes a pro, they can start using data to supercharge their process π―
GoRetro has done it again! As a user of their previous tool, I was already impressed by the effectiveness of their remote team retrospective solution. But now, with the launch of their new sprint management tool, they have taken things to a whole new level! The fact that GoRetro has listened to their users and expanded their product offerings to cover the entire sprint process is amazing.
With features like the collaborative and effective retrospective meetings, the capacity calculator, planning poker, and sprint monitoring, GoRetro has given teams the tools they need to streamline their workflow, increase productivity and ensure that they deliver value on time. The new version of GoRetro offers a comprehensive solution for teams to effectively manage their sprints, making it a must-have tool for any organization that wants to be successful in their software development projects.
I'm excited to see what other useful tools they have in store for us in the future!
Questions for the team:
What was the biggest challenge you faced while creating the new version of GoRetro?
Are there any plans to expand the features of GoRetro to cover other areas of software development beyond sprints?
@nimrodkramer first of all thank you so much for the amazing review!
The biggest challenge building a self serve product in my view is how to add more value, yet remain SIMPLE. Having a simple retro tool is (relatively) easy, the product has one goal. Expanding it to more use cases and keep the onboarding and value realization simple is a huge challenge.
The next feature we are working on is the Task Assignment tool that enables auto assign tasks to people and provides data driven insights on the quality of your planning.
Congratulations on launching GoRetro @nevoalva ! I love the idea of centralizing all the scrum events and activities in one place, and your tool seems to provide just that.
@lior_kaminsky this is great would love to hear more about your experience, sounds like you are definitely a pro when it comes to retros. Our pro users level up their retrospectives with our Joker cards - data driven actionable insights which are automatically added to your meetings, would be happy to show you more.
@ggalpi thanks for the honesty π€ There are actually dozens of teams that came to our product from Miro. Miro is amazing for general collaboration and brainstorming. GoRetro enables you to facilitate and manage your entire Scrum process, no need to find a Miro template, or to build tables to calculate your capacity. I'd suggest you give it a try and would absolutely LOVE to hear your feedback afterwards, even if you decided to stay in Miro.
@matcha_anil planning is a complex process as you know, from refinement, estimating complexity, calculating the available capacity and finally optimize the task assignment to achieve the best results. There are tools and plugins that support parts of this process. GoRetro supports the entire process in one solution plus (and that's a big plus), GoRetro analyzes the team's data and comes up with insights and automation throughout the entire process.
This looks very interesting. I've been using Jira's planning poker tool and it works great for my team. What is the difference between Jiraβs and yours?
@adi_yarden thanks Adi. Our Planning Poker feature is built as a team game making it 10x more engaging and fun for the team, unlike in Jira where it is a rather boring and not collaborative process. We found that a major part of making the planning poker estimation more effective (and actually entire scrum process more effective) is by making it fun and engaging. On top of that our data driven features add more depth to the planning and estimation discussions, making them focused and effective.
Using this product constantly for my team's retro. Increases engagement and makes it way more fun :) Really looking forward for testing the new features
In our dev team, we really wanted a tool to manage our sprints and retros. But all existing tools were either too heavy and complicated or too simple and not designated for the use-case. I love what you offer in GoRetro, really seems to nail it on features' offering and simplicity. Can you share more about your roadmap for the next couple of months?
@maritamar thanks for the detailed feedback ππ» Next in line we have a Task Assignment feature where based on the team's data you can auto assign tasks, and get insights on your planning (e.g. priority and complexity distribution, developer-component match, etc.)
@maritamar oh yeah! we have something cooking on this - staring from utilizing LLM to create meeting summaries. One of the things we found is that retro summaries are very important for teams and for managers, they want to know whats going on and what is the sentiment.
This is awesome! GoRetro seems like it could really revolutionize how development teams approach sprint planning and retrospectives. Love that it's data-driven and helps teams monitor their progress towards success.
