The launch is definitely exciting, but after such a long wait, the result feels a bit underwhelming, especially with so many strong video tools out there today. Still, big thanks to Sora for being a pioneer and leading the AI video hype this year!

I look forward to registering and using it as soon as possible, and hope it will outperform the existing AI video generation tools on the market. After all, It was released a year later than announced, and other competitors now offer higher-resolution videos with more free generation options. But, I believe the OpenAI team can iterate quickly to make the product better aligned with users' needs.
