Currently, there's no evidence of COVID-19 being transmitted through food. However, there's still a lot we don't know about the virus. And so, many are concerned about food safety these days. As cautious new parents in the US, we started to keep a tab on what we eat at home and the foods being recalled. But, we soon grew tired of subscribing to multiple email lists, being bombarded with walls of information, and spending too much time figuring out the "what, why & who", etc. And so, we built this app to make food safety information easily accessible & digestible to us and hopefully others in the US amid COVID-19.
