I was constantly frustrated by the need to rely on third-party paid tools 💸 just to preview how my Instagram feed would look when designing social media posts in Figma. It felt like an unnecessary step that disrupted my workflow. That's why I built Grid-Feed 🚀 – to bring that functionality directly into Figma. Now, I can see exactly how my designs will fit into my feed without ever leaving my design workspace. No more exporting images or juggling multiple apps – just a seamless, integrated experience. If you've felt the same pain, I'd love to hear your thoughts! 🙌

Good Morning everyone! I feel like there are many bot comments here, but let me clarify a couple of things. - The tool was designed for photographers and designers just to purely visualize feeds, not be able to post and upload from Figma or manipulate Instagram posts. - On the Video Side, if you use Figma you know video editing is not really a thing. I will add thumbnail support for videos soon! Thanks everyone for the support! 🚀

Alright, this is awesome. Having the feed preview right inside Figma is a game-changer. A couple of quick questions - - Does this work with video posts as well? - Can we see a preview for different devices, like how it looks on mobile vs desktop? Anyway, good luck with the launch! Can't wait to try it out!

@rachelmariethompson video is on the roadmap! Since using videos in Figma is only on pro plans so want to find a solution it’s also feasible for free users. I think I am gonna find a way to pull in the thumbnail from reels. I think generally the feed is the same on desktop and mobile only the surrounding white space is different. But let me add it to the roadmap! Thank you ♥️

Interesting tool but will it just make Instagram feeds pretty without actually improving engagement, I'm curious about the video post support too, and what's the plan for analytics integration, good luck with the launch, keen to see where this goes

Yess! I love this idea. Imagine if instagram also one day allowed interaction with a figma prototype inside of a post too. *mind explosion*

So we can sync pics but what about videos will we be able to check how it looks on different devices too, because if not, this could fall short pretty quick, good luck tho

Looks cool but I've seen similar tools like Planoly and Later are you offering anything different or unique also what about support for video posts and device previews, thinking this might just be another version of what we've already got
Manuel
Looks cool but kinda worried, what if it only focuses on images and forgets about videos, especially those IGTV posts, also wondering how it looks on different screens you know like mobile vs desktop, might be a big drawback if that’s not included, waiting to see how it all plays out

Seems kinda interesting but what about video posts, and can you make it show on both mobile and desktop previews, hope it's not too buggy...

Looks cool but isn’t this just like Later or Planoly, minus video posts and device previews, guessing it’s gonna need a lot more to stand out in a crowded market, anyway good luck!

Nice execution Timo! What type of projects do you work on for those social media posts?

@chef_jefx my personal instagram is pretty planned out from a photography perspective, and I do a lot of social media management with my agency for creators. So being able to visualize and design upcoming posts is really nice.

So honestly, this tool sounds like it might just be adding another layer of complexity, do we really need an extra step between creating content and posting it, curious how you see this fitting into the workflow, especially for smaller teams and individual creators?
