Hello everyone! I am Nakul, a Product Manager at Truecaller Truecaller helps people safeguard themselves against scams & harassment by providing Caller ID & Spam Blocking. We currently have more than 250 million active users across the world. Having built an app that protects people in their digital lives, we were naturally pushed into thinking how to help people feel safe in the real world too. We've been doing a lot of research in the area of Women Safety (just google itsnotok truecaller) and we knew that this is an area where we can apply our learnings. And that's how we came up with Guardians It starts with allowing users to assign Guardians and enable very accurate & efficient location sharing, but it's much more than that. We go beyond location and try to give more metadata to help you give full picture of the other person's situation. More importantly, we're also building a community Guardians flow where you can take help from the community volunteers when your own Guardians are not able to help you. Think of this as crowd-sourcing safety in the real world. We're also in talks with certain authorities to try and get direct help from cops or so, if you happen to be in such a situation. Think of E911. We launched our app couple of weeks back and have been receiving great feedback. Let me know what you think of this app. Thank you!
