I've always been a tracking and statistics geek (and probably exercised more to get achievements and badges in various ecosystems rather to get fit). I remember way back when Gyroscope was released how cool it was (just noticed that it said "2,711 days on Gyroscope" for my account!). Excited to give it a try again after being away for a few years. Also congratulations on being able to stick to a project for such a long time and continuously improving upon it!

Gyroscope has changed a lot since the first version first launched on Product Hunt 7 years ago. Now we’ve gone beyond just tracking and visualizing data, to understanding what it means for your lifespan and now providing actionable insights. In this version, we’ve taken all of the life-changing insights collected in our coaching program and making them 100% free to the world. Since nutrition is such an important but misunderstood part of health, Food now has an entire tab in Gyroscope to make tracking your nutrition easier than ever. Now we need your help to share this with everyone who you care about or want to live a long and healthy life!

Here is a gift card for a free month of Track membership: https://gyrosco.pe/gift/phfree_m... This will let you set up the more advanced trackers in the app like Places, sync with Apple Watch, or connect advanced devices like a wifi scale or your dexcom glucose monitor!

I tried "HUMANITY — Stay Healthy Longer" app but was not impressed. Gyroscope looks much more interesting. Will give a try. Good luck, Anand! 💪

Beautiful app and congrats on the release! Curious to see if you're doing anything with the data in aggregate? Insights by geography or demographics?

Very nice - looks like a super-powerful tool. Do you have a view on how the data fits for an athlete? If you deviate too far from "normal" behaviour - will that skew the feedback?
Anand Sharma
@nik_hazell It should work well! It is based on what we know about humans in general and studies of what is optimal. Being an athlete should help with some of the things like activity levels and workouts that others who work at a desk often struggle with, and many athletes have a lower resting heart rate or more muscle mass which is beneficial. Other things like nutrition and sleep are still important to get right though
