Hi Product Hunters, I'm Peter Vu, founder of Habitify. I and my team first launched Habitify 1.0 nearly 2 years ago. Our plan was to successfully deliver the message "Better you, better world" by helping users to build their good habits with minimum of their effort. Today, we are launching Habitify 4.0 with huge excitement. Habitify now has the ability to sync the data among all the devices in Apple eco-system (on Mac, iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch). Habitify, with the same impression from the very beginning: simple, clean and intuitive, is now equipped with new important features: - Add notes for habits: remember every events in the habit days. - Dark mode: use Habitify in your own way. - X-callback feature: integrate with other automated workflow apps. We're always striving to give users the best experience with Habitify. Feel free to reach out to us to give your feedback our make suggestions. And thank you Product Hunt team for such a great community, we would never be here without you guys.

Habitify has always been my go-to when it comes to daily routine tracking. I thought I could never use it on my Mac but finally!

Pros:

- It's dead simple and does what it says

- Silky smooth UI/UX

- Syncs nicely between all devices

- Very responsive support team (Huge PLUS!)

Cons:

- I have to wait too long for this Mac version!

Do not understand why you habitify cut HealthKit Import from iOS. Could be more smarter.
Tuan (Alan) Nguyen
@o1xhack After some times building the app, we decided that Habitify should be used to form habits mostly, so anything relating to Health may not align well with the purpose of the app. Still, if you'd like to have Health integration, you can check our app Nirow!
Tuan (Alan) Nguyen
@o1xhack Great! Tell me if you need any help!

@tuanmon1604 I love it, so much! Will consider Premium if some questio can be fixed! I see a delay of Rescuetime that even at the end of day, I still cannot see the data! Right now all sync from HealthKit or other place are automatically, but I can see delays too. Don't know how often it fetch? May be try to fetch each time user open the APP?( right now quit totally and open will definitely fetch health, but still not RescueTime)

The best habit app I've used. Pros: - Interface is well thought-out - Lots of useful configuration options - Syncs between iOS and Mac - Has some really great analytics - You can export the data to .csv, I think they said they are working on JSON export Cons: - I've discovered some minor bugs, but they are really quick to respond and seem to be delivering regular updates - The analytics screen shows you your top habits, when I'd rather see the ones I need to work on - The Mac app doesn't offer anything more than the iOS app at this stage, but it's useful to be able to have it open on machine Overall a really great app. Hoping to see more stats and graphs progress tab in a future update.
Tuan (Alan) Nguyen
@benwwd Thanks for the thoughtful feedback! We actually are working on more analytics for all habits, not just the top habits :) About the Mac app, yes at this stage is mostly similar to the iOS version. But we've had a solid plan to add more unique features to it in the upcoming months! Please stay tuned ^^

Habifity follows a simple concept, but it is super effective. I‘ve been using it on my iPhone for quite some time and it helped me with some habits! It doesn‘t just remind me but also motivate me, especially with the statistics and streaks.

Pros:

- Beautiful experience

- Very effective

- Great functionalities

Cons:

- No cons for me

I've been using Habitify on my phone for months and so far found it the best habit tracking app I've ever used, so excited with this macOS version but Is 20 USD a once time purchase?

Pros:

- Simple display

- Easy to use

- Sync nicely between iphone and Mac

Cons:

Found no cons at this moment

Tiffany Graves
I am very pleased with this app and its simplicity, yet it still allows me to keep track of my daily and weekly habits with the user friendly interface. For the Mac version, the initial $20 in-app purchase is indeed worth it. Although I did expect the macOS app to offer more features than iOS app
Tuan (Alan) Nguyen
@tiffanygraves Thanks Tiffany. We have got a plan for the mac version in the long run. We believe that with the price you have paid it's worth having some unique features that the iOS version does not have. Let's stay tuned!
Nguyễn Hạ Quỳnh
@tiffanygraves Hi there, besides the iOS and macOS, we finally landed on Android with many new features, hope you will drop by and give it a try. Here's the link: https://www.producthunt.com/post...
obyor
22 € for the Mac App and no demo version? A pity.
Tiep Vu
@obyor Hi, if you want to try Habitify, I would recommend you download our iOS version, it's free(with IAP) on App Store. The experience on macOS is quite the same as on the phone.
obyor
@tiepvuvan Thank you for your reply. I“m already using Habitify Premium on my iOS devices because it‘s the best habit tracker for my needs. But it‘s translation (german) is bad, it has usability problems and a very poor apple watch experience. That‘s why I don‘t recommend it to others and that‘s why I‘m not head over heels for the Mac version.
Tuan (Alan) Nguyen
@obyor Thank you for your feedback! I agree that aside from English, we cannot 100% quality control other translation. Let us follow up with you through email so that we can fix that critical problem asap :)
Guillaume Bardet
This looks great! Any plan for a browser based version?
Tuan (Alan) Nguyen
@guillaumebardet Yep yep. Between having an android and window version and having a web-based version accessible by all other platforms. we are thinking of the latter. Still, we think there is one thing that the web-based version cannot compare to the native app, it is the smoothness of the app. If you look at even popular companies such as Spotify, their web-based version is really laggy and the UI is not so flexible to adjust according to the screen size. How do you think abou it?
Guillaume Bardet
@tuanmon1604 That's a very valid point. I just personally spend most of my time on a browser and a few specific apps and I try to avoid opening more. Well done on delivering for all the other platforms I'm sure many will love them. The design is very nice! I will give it a try :)
Tuan (Alan) Nguyen
@guillaumebardet Thank you so much Guillaume :)

Best habit-tracking app I've ever used, highly recommended

Pros:

- Syncs nicely between iOS and Mac

- Simple yet intuitive and helpful

- No crazy monthly subscription fee

Cons:

They should release this macOS version earlier

Meghan Young

In general, I believe Habitify is a go to app for any one who wishes to

live their life more productively. But if you hesitate spending $22 for the macOS version, I would recommend try using Habitify on your

phone first.

Pros:

exciting app with a simple UI

Cons:

Does not have any superior feature compare to the iOS app

Kay Sutton
Just download your app on my Mac, hope it'll work as well as the iOs app did
Tuan (Alan) Nguyen
@kaysutton Thank you Kay! We will try our best to make sure that happens!
Nguyễn Hạ Quỳnh
@kaysutton Hello Kay, the Android app is now on the market, hope to receive your support just like the iOS and macOS: https://www.producthunt.com/post...
Bruce Truong
I love Habitify. This app is extremely simplistic, informative and intuitive, which are key factors for any products of its kind to succeed. It has weaved its way into my daily routine so seamlessly that I find myself subconsciously depending on it for most of my daily tasks and goals. The app works sooo well that I wonder whether I'm controlling it or it's controlling me haha. But joking aside, the designers of this app really made sure to keep it close to the very core of what a habit building product should be. They developed it with simplicity and most importantly, practicality in mind. Still, if you are anything like me, you'd know that my phone is my Achilles heel. It's almost impossible to check Habitify's reminders without taking a peek at my notifications as well. One moment, you are all fired up getting the ever-so-delayed tasks done, the next you are curled up in your warm blanket, munching on the third packs of chips while watching Sara's fat cat wiggling his furry tail on Instagram story!!! Now that I can simply keep my phone locked away without worrying about missing my reminders. Not only does it help me get into a habit faster, it also ensures my productivity is intact. I have been waiting forever for a Mac-friendly version and now I cannot be happier that my second favorite app can be even more effective and accessible! Kudos to the Habitify team! Top notch product!
Tuan (Alan) Nguyen
@bruce_truong Thank you for your very thoughtful post. We hope that Habitify can help you with your job and with your daily routines as well. Kudos to the spirit!

Habitify for iPhone is an app that really helped me - for the first time - with my habits management. Can't wait for macOS version!

Pros:

- habits tracking

- nice notifications

- it really works for me!

- cool UI

- good UX

Cons:

I'd rather get more ads, but free full plan :)

Willie Keller

Would recommend it to anyone who are desperately finding a way to accomplish their daily habits, so simple and friendly-user display

Pros:

- The analytics helps a lot

- Focus on only what's due next

- Sync nicely between Mac and iphone

Cons:

They should have released the note adding feature earlier
