Hey Hunters! "Where is the mobile app?" This was the #1 most requested feature for my gamified habit tracker: Habits Garden It's January 2023: I have no idea how to build for mobile (I'm from the web) and it's a bit daunting... 😧 Martin reaches out and talks about a tech called Capacitor 💡 In less than 2 weeks, Habits Garden is available on both iOS & Android Would love your feedback on the new app. Cheers! This looks awesome!🥳 Congrats man for your mobile app, went straight to the app store. And as a fellow ex-WOW player (I was a Night Elf from the Alliance👀) i love the idea of viewing life as a video game with many side quests to conquer life and grow your character. It's all about those atomic habits and a good system.🚀

@tjerkienator Good question! If you want to finish the game (=unlock all flowers) it's about 3 months of consistency required! And to max out your garden, maybe 1.5 years? Hopefully at this point users are addicted to their habits!

@marclou Solid onboarding experience. I also like your use of video to give it a friendly face. How did you land on a 7 day trial? It would seem to me that the benefit is a user feels more pressure to set things up right away, which would help then see the benefit. However, for me I don't know that I would get the full value with only a weeks' worth of data — I suppose time will tell :-)

@product_at_producthunt Good question! I think 7 days is enough to "try" and see progress, that's it! Would love your feedback once you've played with Habits Garden a bit :)

@dzianis_yatsenka Yes of course that works too! Just phrase it "Don't [bad habit]" You'll only get the rewards if you don't do that habit :)

Habits Garden might be the one and only app I've come across that's had a significant impact on my habits (and, by extension, my health & overall quality of life). I've used it on and off over the last 6 months, and each time I've given it a shot, it's helped me squeeze out enough extra dopamine to stick to whatever habit I was trying to lock in. Love your work Marc; keep it going, you legend 🙌

Love the minimalistic landing page with the bare minimum text, I like that it is not overwhelming. It's simple, it's easy, it's Habit Garden! What really annoys me in a lot of habit trackers is that they make something very easy (habit tracking) utterly complex due to a lot of tabs and unnecessary functions. You chose a different road with Habit Garden which I like a lot. The built-in reference to Atomic Habits is gold - my personal habits bible. What comes next for Habit Garden?

Congrats on the launch Marc, You really have no bottlenecks in your creation. 👍 I think if you release the Chinese version in the app store of China, it would be boom. I don't know if you have heard of the QQ farm developed by Tencent, it is very successful. Habits garden combines QQ farm and Objective management tools, which should attract a large number of Chinese users, especially students.
