Hey there, managing hackathons online is a bit hard, and there is some pain to build teams and find members with the skills you want, Hackatuning is a prototype to show a good way to solve these problems.
1. Create an account and tell what you are good at.
2. Create a Hackathon event.
3. Subscribe to it.
4. Build a team.
5. Invite members based on their skills.
Hackatuning provides email notifications for every important action you make on the app, such as inviting members, they will be notified of your invitation.
Tech used:
- NodeJS with Express for rest api.
- ReactJS
- PostgreSQL
- MongoDB for notifications
- Background tasks with Redis to send emails.
