Hey fellow founders and savvy shoppers,
Our team is happy to announce that we've officially launched HappyWishlist! After facing constant frustration with juggling multiple wish lists across different stores and losing track of my favorite items, I realized there was a gap in the market. This led to the birth of HappyWishlist.

Key Features:
* Universal Wishlist: Add items from any online store in one place.

* Organized Categories: Manage category items with multiple wishlists!
We're constantly evolving and would love your feedback to make HappyWishlist even better. Check out HappyWishlist and start revolutionizing your shopping experience today!
Can't wait for you to join our journey and redefine your shopping experience.

@plbecker hey Patrice. Nice idea btw. Just curious to know that do you work with specific online platforms or this works as a wrapper for any website that offers wishlst functionality?
Hey @imraju! Thank you for the kind words! Our platform allows products from any site to be added to someone's wishlist. Unfortunately, we currently don't have the functionality to be integrated into another site to serve as their site's wishlist tool. That is an interesting idea!
amazing landing page, simply love it! congrats on the launch, seems like it'd be great for content creators to share this link on their twitch/youtube bios
@greguspensky25 Hey Greg, thank you! Yes - it's similar in many ways but with a few changes: friends & family purchase gifts directly as they bring gifts physically to a party. Thus, we offer price comparisons and link to gifts on the retailers page for most gifts (vs Throne purchasing gifts through our ordering system)
Hi Patrice,
Congratulations on launching HappyWishlist! It's such a relief to have a platform that unifies all our shopping desires in one place. I've struggled with the same issue of scattered wishlists, so this is a welcome solution. I'm curious, can you import existing wishlists from other platforms directly into HappyWishlist?
All the best on your journey to streamline the shopping experience!
Warm wishes,
Thank you for the kind words @alex_dulub!
Unfortunately, users cannot import existing wishlists into our platform. But I like this idea and this is a great piece of feedback. Definitely will be looking into this functionality!
@alex_dulub
Update: Hey Alex, we looked into this, and it was a quick update. Users can now import existing Amazon wishlists into HappyWishlist!

I'm making an account right after this comment.
This solution addresses a real pain point for me: being thoughtful with gift-giving.
Ideas come to mind occasionally but tend to slip away and when I do jot them down in the notes app, they often get lost with time.
Having everything centralized is crucial.
Congrats on the launch!
I usually keep a note on my iphone for things my wife casually says she would like. I use this list for birthdays, anniversaries, etc. This sounds like a potential replacement for that note!
Please don't misunderstand what I'm saying. It's a difference in culture. I live in Turkey and we have never had such a need. Is it a need? I'm just curious.
When we buy a present, we don't say what it will be. We think that if the gift is known in advance, it is not a surprise. I'm just trying to understand. π
Nice website, by the way. It's got a cute design. β¨
@ugur2nd
I appreciate your transparency and insight on the gifting culture in Turkey. Indeed, in many cultures, the tradition of surprise in gift-giving is cherished, yet wishlists serve multiple purposes in various cultures:
- Registries: Essential for events like weddings or baby showers, ensuring that gifts are both needed and appreciated by the recipients.
- Tracking Future Purchases: Helps individuals organize their wants or needs, prioritize them, and plan their spending more effectively.
- Charity and Donations: Some wishlists are created to support charitable causes. Individuals can list items needed by a charity or non-profit organization, allowing others to contribute directly to causes that matter, turning gift-giving into an act of communal support and generosity.
- Vision Boards: Enable people to visualize their dreams items or goals, acting as a source of motivation.
- Group Gifting: Makes it easier to pool resources from multiple people for a single, more significant gift. This approach is particularly useful for expensive items that might be unaffordable for one person alone, encouraging a collective effort to give something meaningful.
Wishlists adapt to meet a wide array of needs and preferences, from facilitating thoughtful gifting to acting as tools for personal organization and goal setting.
We really appreciate your insight and your curiosity about gifting culture!
@plbecker First of all, thank you very much for writing in such detail. Hey, guys! This guy loves his job! Use his product! :)
I could only think of birthdays. You're right. In our culture, gifts are also given at weddings and these are suitable for the wish list.
Now all the pieces are in place. Thank you. :)
