I haven been a happy user of Mailhog (local) and Mailtrap (remote) for development testing. Helo easily replaces both of them at once. It has preview, debugging and even spam rating. It works with any programming language and the documentation already helps users of Rails, NodeJS, Wordpress, Yii and Laravel to get started. Great value for the small money, @marcelpociot, very highly recommended for every developer!

I am Marcel, the developer of HELO.
I built HELO to solve the problems that I saw with current ways of testing application emails. I don't need to use an online service and HELO simply catches my application mails locally. It just works - so I can focus on the actual emails.
HELO has already become an essential part of my development workflow, so I hope that you will like it as much as I do and find it as useful!

This is such an amazing tool, most every web application needs to send out email at some point and this tool makes developing it, debugging and making sure everything is good to go directly on your system.
@hanspagel Hi Hans, no - this is not related to Laravel at all. We offer an optional Laravel package, that adds additional debug information. But as long as your application can send emails via SMTP - HELO can catch those mails 👍
@hanspagel Nope - HELO is platform and framework independent! We provide a first party package for Laravel to enhance your Laravel emails with more debug data but this can also be developed for all other frameworks.
I gave it a try and I have to admit I wish I would have come up with this idea. Email testing is so nerv wrecking and this tool makes it a breeze. Thanks @marcelpociot! 👏
