The Hemingway web app got a lot of love 5 months ago. I'd love a Hemingway Chrome extension to give me the ability to quickly edit emails, essays in Draft, and anywhere else on the web.

@rrhoover Definitely! Bring it where we'll use it. I hope they'll make it because I wouldn't give up dayone or mou for another editor BUT I find hemingway so helpful :)
@ChuckReynolds
for $5 i'll try almost anything. I like it. Evidently some of the new copy we wrote is a Grade 20 reading level? lol what's grade 20?

@ChuckReynolds PhD level? Likely to induce migraines with the readers ;)
@ChuckReynolds
@kjemperud maybe. it's hard to explain statistical forecasting and predictive analytics on a 5th grade level w/o sounding like you're full of crap. "It takes your data and tells you the future".. I mean that's the best I can do lol.

@ChuckReynolds Haha, valid point

There's also a free webapp to try in case you don't want to buy the desktop version: http://www.hemingwayapp.com/

I use Hemingway whenever I write something these days. It's very useful.

Looks great. Amazing to see Markdown as well!

great idea. little things like using active instead of passive voice and removing redundant words (e.g., "very unique") make emails more concise.

I use the web version all the time. Will likely buy the desktop version!

Thanks for sharing this hunt, it's a great app. I've been passing all our copy through it and love it. My editor thinks I got smarter (and learned grammar) ... I laugh

Woot! Finally :D
