Another product straight from China! I've ordered these from a few different alibaba manufacturers, all are about the same differentiated by their securing clips.. Great marketing though.
@brockneilson Hi Brock. Our product is actually made in Mexico and is covered by over 50 patents for design and utility, so chances are, you've purchased a few infringing products online. Be careful! Those products may lose durability quickly!
@gastonfrydle they do in fact! So I would be curious to know the durability of yours. As for the patents, not sure how you could afford to buy over 50 of them, but good on ya! How do you plan on combatting the hundreds of infringing listings on Amazon and eBay?
I love the clean design of these laces. They'd definitely up your game if you're a fashionable gym rat, and be plenty fun for kids too! They remind me a bit of the 80s elastic coiler laces (in the best way!).
Are there any plans to design the perfect Hickies shoe to showcase these?
I came up with the idea of HICKIES when I was about 21. I was one of those teenagers that would never tie his shoes. I quickly realized that everyone, from kids to athletes to the elderly, have problems with shoelaces. No footwear brands display shoes with bows because it breaks the design-line.
HICKIES a shoelace replacement that you install once, and you never have to tie your shoes again. They react with the movement of your foot to let you slip on and off, while making sure the fit is secure and snug while running or activity.
After falling in love with Salomon's lace restraints for trail running, I've put Nathan's on all my other running shoes. http://www.nathansports.com/gear... Can you comment on how yours compare for athletic activity?
