Feel free to use the website and sign up to get the latest junior dev jobs.
Feel free to let me know what works, what doesn't, what you like, what you don't like, etc.
Thanks in advance!
Congrats on the launch!
Job boards are a bit of a chicken and the egg situation - you need job ads to get traffic, but you need traffic to get job ads. What's your strategy to tackle this?
@venkata_oruganti and from my experience, this is particularly challenging domain, given that you need to draw in both the supply and the demand. So really curious what's @balt_logs 's strategy here
@ignasv Thanks for commenting!! That's true I actually have planned a strategy that involves posting on different social media platforms and websites such as Product Hunt, Reddit, etc.
Also, not too long ago a blogger/recruiter on LinkedIn heard about HireJrDevs and made a post about it which had a good reach. The database of developers is also close to 100 people in less than 2 months, so there's grown going on, slowly but it's growing. I haven't done any ads yet but maybe in the future. I'm focusing on organic grow first. I'm improving the SEO of the website as we speak.
@ignasv@venkata_oruganti same answer as above I guess, one thing I forgot to mention is that I'm planning to organize talks, and small events across some universities where I live where I have been given permission to do so, but this will happen in January/February 2023. This will help me grow the database of developers tremendously.
