Some of us seem to have a love-hate relationship with Twitter. We can’t seem to stop complaining about it and yet we use it. My twitter timeline stopped making sense long time ago once I started following 500+ accounts. From cat videos, to serious journalism it’s filled with tweets with no relevance. “Unfollow all” has become my monthly chore. So we came up with HitLyst for Twitter and curated about 250,000 accounts in 20,000 lists and placed them in appropriate categories and countries. Imagine timelines like Sub-reddits. And we made a terrible app some time back and failed miserably🙈. So, we started everything from scratch and made a brand new iOS app - hopefully better this time :). Some notable features in this version are: 1. Follow news and popular chronological timelines right from your home screen 🗞 2. Follow trending topics from city and choose notification frequency about trends 📈 3. Dark/light/iOS system modes, Change fonts, sizes, line spacing, media view in timelines. 📱 4. Threads, full media view, swipe actions on tweets And of course, lists. Tons of curated lists so you can follow interest based timelines and edit members in lists with few taps. When you add a list, you are technically not following anyone, but simply checking tweets from members of the list - so your home timeline is still sane. Before you ask - yes, Twitter makes it really hard for 3rd party developers to innovate by shutting down its API. So, some features like like, reply notifications and messages are missing in HitLyst. HitLyst for Twitter was on pre-orders for free, but due to overwhelming response (and Christmas!!! 🎅🏽), we decided to extend the free period for limited time.
