Hey, PH community, Soon after graduating from college, I was requested to help on a DevOps project in a team of all backend engineers. Little did I know that it was the start of a life-changing journey. I initially worked at an enterprise and then moved to lead DevOps for a startup. Every day I would struggle with multiple tickets and maintenance tasks that any DevOps engineer would relate to. We were very reactive and iterative in our DevOps journey and spent years creating basic DevOps workflows mostly because the DevOps team was somehow always occupied with helping dev teams and firefighting. Most devs wasted hours every week due to a lack of proper DevOps guardrails. I was fed up with all of this and decided to talk with fellow DevOps folks; somehow, everyone related to the story. Somehow everyone kept building the same DevOps setups using the same DevOps and cloud tools, each one in-house. This pushed me to quit my job and start solving the problem I and everyone else faced. My Co-Founder @vishal_saugat1 and I decided to build Humalect to ease the life of engineers by providing out-of-the-box solutions for the most common DevOps workflows based on Kubernetes. We have helped multiple companies go to market fast and helped alleviate the pain of many stuck with migrations debts because of poor past choices. Thanks, @rohanrecommends , for hunting us and helping us put our work in front of the whole community. If you answer “YES” to any of the below questions, it’s time to give Humalect a try: 1. You/your dev team spend much time managing cloud/infrastructure. 2. You have delayed sprints due to infrastructure/environment instability. 3. You have to go live by a deadline or have customers waiting, but you don’t seem to have a go-live plan. 4. You have a lot of tech debt/lock-in due to your past stack/infra/cloud choices, and now you are looking to move to the latest technologies available. 5. It will take you months to build the solution in-house, and maintenance onus relies on you post creation.
Who is it for?
You are a perfect match if you are an indie hacker, a solo founder, a small dev team of up to 50 developers or a medium dev team with up to 2 DevOps engineers. I welcome you to try out Humalect and share feedback so we can better the way the world deploys on the cloud, one developer at a time. Cheers Rajesh DevOps Engineer, now wearing the hat of a founder Humalect

The tool looks great Rajesh, and definitely a major pain point these days. Vendor lockins are super difficult to navigate after a while, so its best to use the right tool from day 1. Kudos on the great work !

Really loved your product, just quick question how it is different from other open source products? right now I am using serverless architecture for my product.
Rajesh Tilwani
@_salman Hey Salman, this question can be asked on multiple layers. Taking them one by one 1. Architecture - containers are clearly the future, you can choose serverless (also possible with k8s) or choose to run your cluster with machines, both these can be managed services as they come from cloud providers. we chose k8s because of level of adoption and flexibility 2. Opensource: Most tools are solving small problems and eventually you will have to knit those 10 tools together to get your whole workflow to work. We are solving it from an end-to-end perspective. Humalect would be opensource too, keep an eye :) Happy to help if you have more questions
