While I definitely think this is useful for (aspiring) icon designers, I do question though the need for me to input my email before being able to get the file. I've never much liked giving up my email address just to get a copy of a PDF I might not even like. I've always found it to be an unnecessary threshold that would keep others from trying it out.
@kevinjay89 Thanks for a feedback. You're right, it might definitely keep some people from getting the guide. But it's not only the guide, I'm providing a lot of valuable information about iconography to my newsletter subscribers. So I believe this subscription is really useful for everyone who is interested in icon design. Nevertheless people can always easily unsubscribe if they don't enjoy my content. Cheers!
@justasdesign@kevinjay89 Kevin as a subscriber to Justas' newsletter I can tell you from personal experiences that you simply need to be on this if you'd like to supercharge your icon design knowledge. Also if you don't think you'll like the PDF you can always go to his blog and read a couple of articles there first before getting the PDF.
