📖 Story Hello Hunters and Makers, and thanks @kevin for hunting us :-) it's story time! A while back we started working on an big update for Iconshock that involved adding brand new features to the icon customizing options already available on the platform. In the process, we developed a simple but powerful tool to test out some features, customize icons with a variety of gradient palettes & download the personalized set, but we figured it would be cool to make it available to anyone who wanted to check them out while we finish the larger Iconshock update. 💪 Motivation For a while now, gradients have been used on everything from backgrounds, buttons, headers & several UX elements, however icon design has been dominated by flat colors so far, we figured we may try to change that, so we focused on polishing this live editor tool with near 500 SVG icons and put it out there to show that the versatility of gradient colors also extends to icon design. Here's a quick summary of what you can do with Gradientify: 🔥 480+ svg icons, ready to be customized and downloaded ✏️ An icon set packed with a ton of different industries & categories 📱 A simple yet powerful gradient editor interface with 100+ premade gradient variations 🎯 Create your own gradients & customize color shades precisely with our simple tool 🛠 You can copy the CSS code of your custom gradient ↔️ Option to swap the gradient color orientation 📥 Download your custom gradient icons in SVG & PNG formats! We love to make icons & create new ways to personalize them so that anyone can make a set of their own, we hope the PH community loves these as much as we do, and as always any feedback you guys could send our way is much appreciated! :-)

@kevin @ryzalyusoff great ! Please use them, I'd like to see readermode 2.0 with that gradient feel haha
Razvan Ilin
Very nice style and interaction with the gradient options! Is there a way to put an exact color code in for the gradient options? I could edit the CSS, but the colors would not update.
Juan Sarmiento
@razvanilin it was there initially but working a bit buggy, it really needs that, let us work on that and update ;) would be far more useful if you can pick your specific colors.
Mohd Danish
@juanpablosarmi Great Job. I love the idea and ICONS. I'll suggest you to add single icon download rather than full collection. All good.
Juan Sarmiento
@mddanishyusuf Thanks, we are actually working on this feature for the next update, as well as search options and single icon customization !
Alexander Olssen
Hey, @juanpablosarmi ! Just checked your product and want to say that the icons really stylish and unique! P.S. Can't stop playing with gradients😅. Congrats!
Juan Sarmiento
@alexanderolssen Thanks, remember you can use it as a gradient tester, and get the gradient CSS code ! you can also swap the direction, did you check ?
Samir Patel
Gradientify Icons Looking forward to having the filters and search option and ability to download single icons in the future. Keep up the good work.
Juan Sarmiento
@samarpatel13 Samir, thanks for your feedback, actually we are working in such features (and more), do you think would be useful to be able to edit single icons too ? would appreciate a lot your thoughts about it...
Samir Patel
@juanpablosarmi Allowing to download single icon with predefined colors would be great as users can get multi colored icons from same set of designs individually when they download all single ones.. Also if you want you can add a .99 cents editable SVG for single icons to come up with a new plan too.
Juan Sarmiento
@samarpatel13 Thanks, single icons download and edition seems the path to follow ! someone told us the icons could even work (in some scenarios) as logos, so with the individual plan we can even try a simple but useful logo editor !
Samir Patel
@juanpablosarmi Instead of spending time and money on Logo Editor, I would say give them an editable blank templates or supporting vector files like fonts, example styles in a package that they download a single icon download.
Felipe Otálora
Cool icons and the setup for the gradient works really well. Are there any plans so that you can import your own SVGs and then define the sections to take advantage of the customization?
Juan Sarmiento
@felipe_otalora thanks, it took us a lot to get to the final UX and the gradient tool. Yes, next version, which is gonna be a big iconshock update, will have an option to upload your own SVGs, however, to define specific parts of a uploaded SVG is really really hard to achieve, as not all icons are build the same. So we'd need to define some kind of standard. Fur sure we are thinking in all the option, any other idea or recommendation ?
Oliver Wolf
This is what people like, its going to be a successful day for you :) ... Selling icons works since the internet was born :D
Juan Sarmiento
@oliver_wolf lol! we have been there, I started with iconshock was created almost 15 years ago, thanks for your kind words, were you able to download ? everything works for you ?
Collin Farra
@juanpablosarmi this set is great, it matches perfectly with the gradients. And the gradients... that's the best part, they're beautiful. Wondering how did you choose the palettes?
Juan Sarmiento
@collin_farra Hello, thanks for your kind words, we take a lot of time one curating and creating gradients from several online tools, and you are totally right. The key is to choose the perfect color palettes, otherwise it will looks weird. Feel free to use to try your own gradients on the fly. Did you check you can copy the css code ?
Collin Farra
@juanpablosarmi that's a nice and necessary feature nowadays, I'm self learning web design and this is the kind of stuff I need
Juan Sarmiento
@collin_farra amazing, try to do stuff like this to practice, svg is an amazing tool to learn too.
Jesse Jensen
@kevin @juanpablosarmi Very cool! Gradients FTW! *downloads very single color* I am going to need to buy another SSD. Love it. 👍
Daniel Jimenez
Awesome tool, the interface is easy to navigate. Quick question, are you guys planning on adding more features to this or is this a final version?
Collin Farra
@daniel_jimenez3 I was also thinking on the same, it will be really cool to have new colorful add-ons and more edit settings for these beauties <3
Sandoche
Very nice, well done, I'll add it soon to https://Undesign.learn.uno !
Juan Sarmiento
@sandochee Wow, that would be fantastic, do you need some specific materials (photos, copy, etc) ?
Sandoche
@juanpablosarmi If you have a description you would like me to put that can be cool. The icon I take the one from the website you can also send that if you want :)
Juan Sarmiento
@sandochee sure thing, will prepare a description :)
Juan Sarmiento
Hey @sandochee just send you a description through Undesign's contact, let me know if you receive it :)
Juan Sarmiento
Thanks a lot @sandochee !!
Aaron

Eric Froese
This looks fantastic! Looks like your site is under heavy load :P Looking forward to checking it out!
Juan Sarmiento
@eric_froese Hello Eric, yes, we are having a lot of downloads :)
Rajat Patel
It's so great. I love the landing page, and it lets you choose the colors you want for your icons, and also lets you download them with a few requests. There are a lot of available icons that you can use. It's really cool.
Juan Sarmiento
@rajat_patel2 thanks Rajal!
Musharof Chowdhury
Cool idea, congrats on the launch! We are also working on @LineIcons V2 ;)
Juan Sarmiento
@lineicons @musharofchy Mushrad, thanks partner ! Line icons is quite a good project, I think we should work in something together ;) When do you plan to launch ?
Musharof Chowdhury
@juanpablosarmi Thanks mate yeah we will, let's talk someday. Next launch most probably in february ;)
Juan Sarmiento
@musharofchy great ! please send me the link when done! :)
Mark Donaldson
Nice clean design and great concept! It is taking a VERY long time to download. (Is the interface actual functional yet?)
Juan Sarmiento
@mark_donaldson Mark, yes, it taking a bit to download due to the huge load we are having, and the process has to colorize the icons on the fly and taking into account there are more than 500 icons per user! it's a lot to process, next version we will send a link to the email I guess.
Daniel H
I cannot believe that you made my dreams come true :) ... a good idea maybe, the same functionality but with users' uploaded icons... but meanwhile, I'll be happy using this pretty set and playing with that beautiful gradients the whole day, well done!
Juan Sarmiento
@hernandez_creativos Next version will include option to upload users' icons, however, there's a tricky issue with SVG code as we wont have control, but we are working on that with our team of ninjas ;) ;) !
Danny Hoower Viasus Avila
Downloading... Iconshock packs, ever been the best!!!! High Quality in every design!!! Amazing Job! tks
Juan Sarmiento
@danny_hoower_viasus_avila Thanks for your kind words danny !
Laura Martínez
Awesome, any chance to create and save my gradients?
Juan Sarmiento
@laura_martinezo Hello Laura, yes, you can select your own colors and save the resultant gradient in CSS !
Artem Stenko
Eeee! Finally, someone did it, now I don’t have to strain myself or the designer! Thanks!
Juan Sarmiento
@artem_stenko haha, now you can simply relax and use the gradientify icons pack :)
