Hello, Product Hunt community!π
Here I come again with a new launch. Idea Spark is a free mobile app tool for developers and entrepreneurs that allows you to save business/app ideas and validate them before starting to work on them.
π±Give it a try and share with me your experience!
I love your factors for scoring ideas - sometimes you think of a 'home run', but then you *really* start thinking about things like how big the market actually is, and the dreaded Google search of how many others are doing something similar. Your app will help qualify the good, and doable!, ideas faster.
Only thing is you're saying it helps with validation - from my understanding the only way to *validate* the idea is to put it in front of your target customers - have you got a way to promote an idea to a market segment? Maybe something to think of a solution for - could ideas be shared/promoted in some way to get early validation?
Following (supporting :) you now; best of luck for your next steps and lmk if you want to chat more about it
@jonathan_mccallum thanks for your feedback, and yes in the future I will add something for promoting the idea to get actual feedback from real people. v2.0 π
@rares Epic! Please let me know when you do! I've got 4 major ideas I'm working on atm and the biggest headache isn't building (I use bubble.io) it's validating with real people.
so many ideas get sparked then die before even going through the tests and trials. This should def help keep more of them go through the motion and lead to more fruition!
This looks neat. I use Google Keep for all of my ideas but it is difficult to keep them synchronized across 2 phones and multiple accounts.
Is this an android app?
@naveed_rehman Kind of, I had a google sheet that did somehow the same thing and I saw that there was people interested in it and I thought maybe an app would be useful instead of that.
Great concept! π I have a few suggestions. It might be helpful to introduce distinct onboarding screens to enhance users' understanding of the solutions right from the start. Also, consider refining UI alignment and font sizes to achieve a more elegant design.
Neet idea.
A few things that maybe could be improved on:
It would be cool if there was a dropdown with the categories instead of writing them down yourself.
UI with more contrast in some areas and text sizes would make it a bit easier to use.
