I thought this was posted before. I love the simplicity of iDoneThis and frankly, I could use more apps to help me be more productive rather than consume my time. :)
Perhaps @smalter or @lethargarian can jump into the thread.
Remember using this at Vungle, and I will definitely use it again in the future. It's a simple product, but it keeps you focused on working on things that matter and everyone stays in the loop effortlessly.
Hey @alwaysunday, yeah something in Mavericks changed how sendmail works. Let me intro you to the guy who created the Alfred workflow because he has some work arounds.
Can you email me at walter at idonethis? I will connect you. Apologies for not resolving this over our previous twitter conversation.
At Google, they use a system of "snippets"; where you write a bullet-pointed list in an email of what you accomplished that day. Then a summary gets sent round to the whole team collating what everyone got done.
It's kind of like a daily standup, except over email. Lots of companies that went through AngelPad (e.g. Buffer) use iDoneThis, which has taken the concept of Google Snippets and productized it.
I was using it religiously when my Alfred workflow was still working. Haven't been able to get it working after the Mavericks update (sendmail issue?) and anxiously waiting to get it figured out.
I never remember all the little accomplishments at the end of the day when the email is sent and it's too distracting to go to the website each time I finish something. The Alfred workflow made it super simple to make note of all the little wins.
@smalter, any ideas on why that workflow stopped working?
