Impossible bought a Polaroid factory and re-hired workers to recreate and start selling the popular film a few years back.
This is their first attempt at making a new polaroid camera. Integrates a ring flash and manual controls via iOS app integration.
@joshdance the company has been around since 2008. This is a new endeavor into their recent foray into incorporating mobile photography and instant photography that started in 2013.
Can't wait to try this out, but hey Product Hunt: Your subhead is a little inaccurate, no? The I-1 is a standalone instant camera. The optional iPhone app only adds functionality for advanced shooters.
This is awesome (and actually ironically really fills a need). We all take so many pictures these days but rarely actually print them out/have them made into real photographs. Yet many of us still like having physical photographs.
This is looking awesome. I have a question, can we test it on security cameras? I'm working for security camera for home and resident areas and I want to add the instant camera feature.
