Hello, product hunters! This is certainly an exciting one, as I'm always excited to see Y Combinator alumni release new innovations. Socap.ai is a platform designed to find the perfect investor match for your startup and guide you through the process of connecting with them. It's like having a personalized AI for your fundraising efforts! With Socap.ai, you'll find it much quicker and easier to identify which investor to write to now and who can introduce you.
Alexander Nevedovsky
@garrytan Thanks for your support, Garry. Excited to be building Socap.ai alongside giants like you and can't wait for you to start making YC intros using Socap.ai 😺
Slava Solonitsyn
@garrytan thanks, Garry. I am excited to give back my social capital to starting founders similar to how YC partners did when we were starting Mighty Buildings. Socap.ai is a perfect tool for this
Alexander Nevedovsky
@garrytan @slava_solonitsyn1 Mighty Buildings rocks!

So far we've been working with the Socap team and had success. The service on premium is top notch.

@max_orlov_ony You love to see that!
Ivan Fokeev
🌟 This sounds amazing! πŸš€ As a founder, I'm really interested. How exactly does your platform use community and machine learning for fundraising? And what's included in the free bootcamp? Excited to see this launch!
Alexander Nevedovsky
@fokeev1 Check out more info on our site! PH is very limited in terms of what we can share. In short, we're helping founders to share social capital (simply put, connections) with each other as well as bringing on more experienced founders as part of our social capital sharing days. As for the bootcamp, check this out: https://socap.fibery.io/Product/...

Hey Product Hunt! I'm a long-time PH ecosystem builder and have previously won both the Product of the Year (yes, you read it right) and Golden Kitty (see my socks here: https://imgur.com/a/bc3oM8j). Today I'm super pumped to announce Socap.ai β€” where we give founders like you a better way to fundraise from angels/VCs and beyond with the power of community, machine learning, and agentic workflows. Fundraising is really tough, especially in the current environment. There's so much bullshit advice that you don't even know who to listen to. With Socap.ai, we make it at least 2 times easier by giving founders a proven YC-style "parallel fundraising" playbook (remember β€” we ourselves have raised over $200M using it), an accountable community, and exclusive access to the Socap.ai platform where you can easily manage and grow your founder/investor network. If you're serious about fundraising, apply to our waitlist (https://socap.ai) by June 25th! We promise to express review your application and come back until the end of the week if you use the referral code "Product Hunt" at the end of the application.

Hey, Socap.ai team. Still made a great product that saves a lot of time for the funder. The bootcamp solution is amazing!
Alexander Nevedovsky
@serg_krasakovich Appreciate it, Sergei!
Dmitry Titov
Did you rebrand before you even got involved with the brand?
Alexander Nevedovsky
@ititov_agency Not sure if I understand what you mean?
Serge Zakharov
Will you also use AI for tracking and guiding startups?
Serge Zakharov
Nice move, startup/VC matching should be definitely boosted by AI to reach the best quality for startups and precision and speed for VC!
Alexander Nevedovsky
@sergezakh Thanks Serge! Great to see you applying!

😹 LOL
What kind of "agentic workflows" are you looking to make? I really need fill in google form on vc lists. and upload pitch deck πŸ˜…. Every single vc has different questions in their google form.
Alexander Nevedovsky
@sentry_co Ha, that's one use case for sure. My recommendation though is not to waste time on these forms. We're more focused on automating your regular introductions routine e.g. reconnecting, requesting intros, etc. This is what we call "parallel fundraising". What are you working on? Would love to see you apply to the bootcamp, I'll share more on the above.
AndrΓ© J
@ednevsky The forms work. It's just that they are time consuming. 10-20-30% return rate I would say. And near 100% in the geographical investment area. Well for a serious startup with a relevant case. I'll DM you on LinkedIn with my case.
Alexander Nevedovsky
@sentry_co How do you know that they work? You should measure by the end result (money in the bank) and not by the return rate. Cold outreach is 10x less effective compared to warm intros in our experience.
AndrΓ© J
@ednevsky From experience raising. and also learning from experience from other founders at antler. We are 3k VC funded founders now in the same slack team, so we share these kinds of things. Wam intros are great once you have a relevant case, but at the same time you don't really need intros when your relevant. So it can be good when you're sort of in-between not relevant and relevant I guess. And yes. making a fast lane for intros as a service can work. But it needs to be transparent, like okay. these are the metrics or green flags you need to get onto this warm intro fastlane. Right now your service is a bit opaque. There is no info on what you're looking for. Which makes a lot of founders sceptical that this is a honeytrap etc. Which many similar services are. Ways to grab pitch decks with business models and IP and copy them in other countries etc.
Alexander Nevedovsky
@sentry_co I get it, thanks for sharing. We're certainly no honeytrap and our profiles/backgrounds speak for themselves. Will take your feedback into consideration, though!
Regina Gerbeaux
So good, congratulations team!
Sarah Mooney
So powerful for startups. When you're looking to raise it can be a pain to find the right investor. You want to make sure you're reaching out to VCs where you align with their investment thesis.
Stas Neprokin
Nice work man
Igor Ozerov
I love the idea - good luck to you guys with Socap! @ednevsky
Tony Han
What I found Socap cool is the community aspect - honestly the Saas is great (to speed things up and scale), but this is really building a community. Once you are validated by other members (by adding value), you are in the pool. And that's where the magic happens. Congrats on building out such a terrific community @ednevsky, @slava_solonitsyn1 and team!
