I'm beyond excited to bring Intercom suite of products for the product hunt community with 95% discount. Intercom is a conversational relationship platform helping businesses build customer relationships through personalized, messenger-based experiences.

Imo there are better options in many perspective eg crisp. Intercome is more for bigger corps and just throwing a discount with not the best req doesnt change the fact - culture is the same. Tip: care about the early startup community / indies. Be one uf us

You seem to offer 10 seats as part of this programme, but have a requirement to have less than 5 employees to take part? With such a small team I would be surprised if you would need more than 2 seats. We are a fairly new start-up in beta with 150 customers, but 25 employees and well below the funding limit though I assume we don't qualify? We have also just become an Intercom customer as we test out options. When this compares to Chip's offering of being free without the employee cap, they are poles apart. I appreciate the attempt to do something, and I have seen Intercom evolve quite a lot over the last 5 years, but the pricing seems to have got more confusing over that time

Back in the day we signed up for Intercom as a startup. After working with it for a while they suddenly changed their policy and boosted the price significantly. Really much higher. They also moved the goal posts of who qualifies. That meant jumping from a spend of under 100-200 dollars to a spend of 3000 dollars. Unfortunately we were only given a couple of months of notice for the price change. Normally I'd just quit but intercom is a product that requires deep integrations for triggers and the blow-back from this integration is something we still see occasionally. We ended up moving to Crisp which has better pricing and a product that's better in many (not all) regards. I try to avoid negative comments, I'd much rather be positive but Intercom earned it. I also feel that companies should learn from this, don't f*ck your users: https://medium.com/@Codename_One...

@pedro_muller1 Its nice to see someone from the top responding to these users comments and trying to find solutions. I would however point out one very important thing. In case of Intecom, most of the complains and confusions arises due to inconsistent and confusing pricing strategy. I was considering Intercom for my Startup, but even this package is not competitive

That's amazing! It will help many startups out there.
