Hey Product Hunt! 👋
This is my first product launch, so go easy on me. 😅
I’m one of the co-founders of Artefact, but let’s be real – I’m not the one writing the code. My brilliant partners @russell_lowry and @marc__milberg are the true builders. I’m the marketing guy, the one making sure people actually hear about this thing and (hopefully) love it.
For years, I’ve worked in branding, storytelling, and creative marketing – helping companies bring ideas to life. Now, I’m diving into the wild world of SaaS, and I couldn’t be more excited (or slightly terrified) to introduce Artefact to the Product Hunt community.
We built Artefact because documentation shouldn’t be a bottleneck. Slow approvals, scattered feedback, endless versions – yeah, we’ve all been there. So we created a smarter, faster, and more intuitive way to manage technical docs and approvals.
Would love to connect with fellow builders, marketers, and documentation nerds. What’s one thing you wish more people understood about launching a product?
Any wisdom from this amazing community would be much appreciated!

So stoked to get @Artefact into the world and tell stories together!
@royesegal, congrats on launching Artefact! Streamlining docs is crucial, and your approach seems spot-on. As someone gearing up to launch Raven, a slightly sadistic productivity app for writers, I understand the challenges of bringing a product to market. One thing I wish more people understood about launching is the emotional rollercoaster it entails—balancing excitement with the fear of reception. Best of luck with Artefact! Going to take a more in depth look now.
@bradharrs Thanks so much! And a sadistic productivity app for writers? Now that I need to hear more about. Does it gently shame me into writing or just lock me in a digital dungeon until I hit my word count? Either way, I respect the hustle. Would love to hear more and appreciate you checking out Artefact!
Not a use case for me, but just wanted to comment and let you know that I love the concept!
