Hi everyone, I'm Andreas. 31 years old. I live in Essex, just outside of London in the UK.
I started my own organic and paid media marketing agency in 2019 and scaled to 25kmrr within the first 6 months @ 85% profit margin.
We're currently sitting at 45kmrr.
It wasn't always like that though. It was a long, hard slog to get up to where I am today.
I started out studying Science (🤢) at the University of Bedfordshire.
I failed my chemistry exam...
Spent a summer deciding what to do.
I went back to university to study Human Resources (🤢).
But during this time (3 years) I fell in love with creating websites and organic marketing. I focused on helping businesses with their marketing around Bedfordshire.
I built up a little client base alongside my studies and managed to pay off my 30k student loan debt.
I eventually completed university with a 2.1 and was out in the big world!
That little client base eventually churned.
I spent around 5/6 months trying to work out where I wanted to go in life...
I decided to cold-email around 500 marketing agencies to try and get a job.
One replied... And, I got the job!
Sideline... My cold email was epic. A mix of the script from the film Taken and a photoshopped image of the directors. Want to see it? Here's the post on LinkedIn:

...They were a start-up so I needed to earn my keep.
I was 1 of 4 employees and we scaled that agency to 100k a month.
That's where I really mastered my craft.
After that, I successfully sold my stake in the company and moved into another role in the City of London as a Marketing Director at a pretty big financial firm.
The money was good, but I hated the company...
I needed to get out.
The hardest part of this was choosing what to do, and then actually sticking to it.
I decided that I wanted to start my own marketing agency...
Starting my agency on the side of my 9 to 5 was tough.
Leaving the house at 6am, and getting back at 8pm then jumping on my laptop and effectively, start my second job.
It was a grind!
But it took 5 or so months to replace my paycheck and I haven't looked back since.
So, what does the business look like now?
- 15 clients deep at 45kmrr.
- Mainly tech and SaaS companies
- 2 contractors
- Tech stack for reporting, payments, and communication internally and externally
And we're in the midst of starting something new...
We're launching our "Service as a Subscription" model on PH over the coming weeks.
Offering companies unlimited paid and organic marketing for a fraction of the price it costs to hire a marketing team or agency.
The plan is to build it in public and use feedback to refine our strategy, pricing, content etc.
I'll be keeping the community updated along the way.
The first goal is 50kmrr then 100kmrr over the next year or so.
If anyone has any questions - feel free to drop a comment.
Peace!
