We’re excited to share a new tool that makes that design-to-development process better—for everyone. Meet Inspect, your team’s faster way to certainty. Inspect makes it easy for developers to get the accurate information they need about your designs. Say goodbye to endless email threads and mile-long PDF docs. Your whole team can start building sooner, and get the information they need, when they need it—in real time. With Inspect, your team can: - Get real code with a single click - Quickly gather key information, like font names, Hex codes, image specs, and dimensions - And lots more! Don’t take our word for it—try it yourself, free!

@clarkvalberg Nice one! I love how InVision is becoming an ecosystem :)

@clarkvalberg only works with Sketch?
Ohad Aviv
@clarkvalberg mental note: voting twice doesn't work ;) Incredible.

@clarkvalberg Looks great guys. What sort of code does it punch out? Just css? If it's not supporting Swift, can't see it replacing PaintCode anytime soon in my toolkit 😊
Clark Valberg
@johntheoak just for the moment but expect that to change soon.

Are you Clark from invision? If so I'm sorry I never reply 😐
Clark Valberg
@marister who else ? :)

Hi Clark! Nice job team. Does it work with Photoshop?
Alessandra Rigano
@clarkvalberg @alexanderisora lets talk about Adobe XD!
Kaitlyn Houk Witman
@clarkvalberg Yeah also requesting it to work with Photoshop, please! This looks *GREAT*
Mohammed Erraysy
I think it will be much easier for those whom use InVision then Zeplin to achieve this, Very interesting, keep up the good work.
Baptiste Malaguti
So happy to see it work with Sketch! InVision has made incredible work this past year. I didn't expect that much creativity to be honest. Good job guys!
Stephen Olmstead
@bptstmlgt Thank you- please hit us up and let us know how we can continue to improve. A large majority of what we've launched this year is the direct result of feedback and requests from our community. Enjoy!

Is this the product built from the Macaw acquisition?
Stephen Olmstead
@rdbrdd Nope! This is just one small outcropping of some of those efforts. Much bigger things still to come- 2017 is going to be super fun. :)
Dima Braven
Looks like Avocode, but would it be faster?
Dmitrij Paškevič
I wish I could switch to Sketch easily..
Stephen Olmstead
@murrzeak we made a thing for that as well if you're interested. :) https://www.switchtosketchapp.com

That's great but how can we download Inspect? We are already using Invision.
Clark Valberg
@lecoupa it's built right in. Just click the Inspect button where you view your prototypes in InVision.
Marina Yalanska
Good job guys, as usual, keep rocking!

OMG yes!! 🙀

Oh. My. WOW. Been using both Invision and Zeplin together for the year, but then one falls out of parity as I have to shift over to briefing devs. This is massive. I do love Zeplin, but this might just take it. Solid work, and an answer to why I wondered there wasn't a sync with Zeplin too.
Vytas Butkevicius
I'm a big fan of Zeplin, but will give this a look since InVision is awesome as well.

@vytasbu @clarkvalberg ya this is my biggest thing...how does Inspect compare to Zeplin? I love invision and use it all the time but Zeplin is a huge part of our workflow now.

Impressive! I echo the sentiment about you becoming a platform (love the integration with UserTesting btw). Anyways, I've been using Sketch + Zeplin + InVision for a while now. For the sole reason of exporting assets for devs, I have two projects in Zeplin for one Sketch file. My Android project easily exports 5 pngs and my iOS project quickly exports 3 pngs. All I have to do is make my vector object exportable as an svg in Sketch, and then specify the project type (iOS or Android) in Zeplin. Is this something in your roadmap?
Micka Touillaud
@drwolanin I'm exactly on that case don't get the point of this feature yet as it's exactly what Zeplin does, with less useless marketing..?
Reony T
Yay finally we can try it! I was never going to get around Enterprise, since it's just me
Sarah Jukes
Nice! I like how this was coordinated with an email in my inbox today about this new tool ✅

Good jobs, guys!

This has been the missing piece in our internal design workflow. We've been using sketch measure for about a year now - but thrilled to see invision offering a solution. Keeps things simple with sketch and invision. Bravo.

At last!
