While I understand the convenience, I currently focus on keeping the core functionality of creating professional invoices simple and accessible.
This allows freelancers to get started quickly and easily.

I remember generating similar one with google sheets, generally invoices data does not change from month to month only dates changes sometimes maybe give a particular format file through which they can re-upload & generate for the month because filling same data again again would be hard
Hi @sridhar_katta, thanks for the feedback! That's a great point about recurring invoices. You're right, a lot of data stays the same.
We currently store the data you enter in your local cache, so you only need to update dates when generating a new invoice. However, I completely understand the frustration of re-entering similar data.
Adding a functionality where you can upload a past invoice and have the data pre-populated is an excellent suggestion! We'll definitely consider this for future development. Thanks for helping us improve the invoice generator!
Sleek and modern interface, love it! Really cool that it's open source. This is a dope example for the @react-pdf/renderer package. I've worked on similar projects before.

What's stopping me to use this: There should be a way to save & re-use the generated invoice's format. By this way, I can make another invoice when I come back later (or even make changes to the current one)
What am I missing: Is there a feature to export & reimport as a data file?
Or even the generated pdf file could be used to create new invoices with minimal data editing (Those Filled blanks should be exported & Re-imported to create another invoice).

Great point about saving invoice formats! I'll consider adding functionality to save & reuse formats - would make repeat invoicing a breeze.
Data export/import is on our radar too. Being able to import data from a file or even reuse a generated PDF with minimal editing sounds super useful. We'll keep you posted on future developments!

It looks very nice & clean. As I see that you are taking in some thoughts, maybe linking this to the user's Google Drive and generating the Google Sheets into their drive could be cool.

That's a great point about adding more currencies. I've included the most commonly used currencies, but I'm always looking to expand. Which specific currencies were you thinking of? Knowing your needs helps prioritize future development.

I think the missing ingredient is to have the app scour email and files to suggest time entries. Then the person creating the invoice gets a suggested list of items to consider for billing or to support their showing of their effort on behalf of the clients. I assume there is open source software to search gmail and others with permissions. Then the output would be like this offering. Great job.
