@martinlexow Although I have absolutely no use for it... I found myself promoting this app to others (like here https://twitter.com/janvaniperen.... Really beautiful design and execution! Gratuliere!

@ipears Thank you so much Jan 🙏

There is nothing in this important niche that comes even close to Keystroke Pro. It’s extremely well-designed and polished—and version 2 has brought the app to a whole different level.

@frankrausch Those words coming from you mean the world to me. 🙏

Thanks to @chrismessina for hunting me! 👏 As a lecturer myself and teaching remote during the recent months I became more and more thinking of a new version of Keystroke Pro — so I built it! Visualizing your keystrokes during screen sharing makes presenting just so much easier. Viewers can follow along with ease and as a host you have to explain less of what you’re doing. The new version comes with great multi-monitor support and fun new ways to customize the key appearance. It’s optimized for Mac with M1 but works flawlessly on all machines that run macOS 11+. What do you guys think? What other features should be added?

@martinlexow Thanks! Redeemed the 5th code. What are the privacy settings like?
Martin Lexow
@donni It respects your privacy. The app is not even able connect to the internet due to self-imposed restrictions that are managed by the operating system. All of your key press input and data remains offline, on your computer, where it belongs

@martinlexow Any chance to get one? Thank you.

This is so useful! Thank you Martin :)

Love the clean look of the visualizer. It would be nice to have something similar on windows as well, are there plans for bringing it to the platform?
Martin Lexow
@madebyayan Thanks Ayan! I’m currently not planning to develop a Windows version for it—so for now, it’s Mac only 🥲

@martinlexow the pricing for the app is a bit weird. On Apple’s App Store, it shows as $13.99. On gumroad, it shows as $30 or $100, which is crazy expensive. I purchased the original version and don’t mind supporting again for the App Store price. Are the App Store and Gumroad versions the same software?
Martin Lexow
@billy_bob2 Hey Bob — everything is new in V2 so it’s a paid upgrade in general. However I decided to go with a goodwill period. If you have purchased V1 on August 1st 2020 or later, just head to your Gumroad Download Page and grab the latest files — your license key will work fine with V2 too. I think that’s super fair! In terms of features the Gumroad version is the same as the one on the Mac App Store. But selling an app outside of the App Store takes additional effort: License validation, notarization, update mechanisms, marketing stuff – so it’s not unusual that these tend to be more expensive.

Nice, bravo 👌🏽. How does it work for those who already had version 1 ? Do we have to pay for version 2 or is there a free upgrade ?

instant buy! great app!!

Congrats on the launch of the second version!

Nice app, but can be expensive price
Martin Lexow
@amine_bensalah Glad you like it — and I’m sure after using it for a couple minutes that you’ll feel that it is also worth it 🙂

@martinlexow This is really great. I really wish you would release a Windows OS version as well because there are dozens of similar aesthetically beautiful solutions for Mac OS, yet nothing in this level for Windows OS.

What a great app! @martinlexow has outdone himself again!
