Y.A.A.N.G (Yet Another Ambient Noise Generator). I think I'll make one with kids yelling and fighting in the background while they watch Stampycat on YouTube and my wife is having a conference call, on speaker phone, in Chinese. Yay, real ambient noise. ;-)

Looks to only have a few sounds initially - wonder if there are plans to expand them

@jonas_petermann Noizio isn’t free at all (4.99$ at this time) and delivers a weird iOS interface on macOS...
@martinlexow Ah so than it's not free anymore, my fault. I got both iOS and Mac version for free some time ago. Don't know what should be weird aboud the interface on Mac though...
@jonas_petermann I think the UI is a matter of taste :) I personally prefer a more decent style especially on menubar apps.
Update 1.1.0 comes with a new feature: Add your custom sounds! 🙂 I’ve also added a few new sounds in the meantime. Enjoy!
Completely understand the benefits behind ambient sounds, but cant someone simply stream this via youtube when they please?
@anthony_stylianou The advantage of Vicinity is that it works completely offline, is super-fast accessible and starts on launch if you want to. Also, it provides high quality sounds in stereo 320kb/s.
