I'm saying this in the nicest possible way, but Jemi looks like About.me for Creators. So much potential, and the niche is going to be a wedge to a huge market. Excited to give it a try with my kids. Congrats on launch day @annie_hwang & @jasonscui!
Thanks so much @azianmike! Great question — we think Linktree and Beacons are both awesome. For link-in-bio sites we aim to provide more templates that serve as starting points while also providing more fun features like GIPHY icons for links.
In the short-term we hope to extend beyond link-in-bio pages and build fully featured websites for creators where they can feature their content, set up digital commerce, and build their brands!
I’m SO excited to be launching Jemi 2.0 here on Product Hunt along with Annie and Jason! The last year of working on Jemi has been so incredibly fulfilling at a professional and creative level and it’s great to finally put our work out there.
@jasonscui and @annie_hwang already did a great job talking about why we built Jemi and what Jemi 2.0 is. Behind the scenes, the Jemi 2.0 that you see today is the result of countless hours talking to users, iterating the product and ultimately helping creators and entrepreneurs build their online presence. Jemi was built with love by three good friends who are creators at heart and are passionate about building products.
On a personal level, there’ve been so many memorable moments that we’ve had on our Jemi. Some of my favorite were around working with our users, whether it was sending them a personalized thank you note after 2020 or seeing their genuine excitement about the product. If you’re new to Jemi and are interested in trying it out, we’d be ecstatic to hear your feedback 🙂
