We're super excited that Jester has finally been released to the world! Alex and I have shared many laughs because of the captions we’ve been able to generate through the app, and we can’t wait for you to try it out.
We understand the importance of privacy, especially for photos, so the app does not store your photos or any other user data. If you have any feedback or questions for us, please let us know — we’re constantly working on improving the app.

Great job on launching the app! It would be awesome if the app could learn and adapt to a user's personality to create more personalized captions. That way, the captions would better reflect the user's own style and voice. I also think that basing the captions solely on what's in the photo can be a bit inauthentic. I have tested a couple different caption apps and most of them give off cringe captions. I love the idea and think there is a lot of potental but that's my feedback :)

Hi all, I thought it would be cool to use GPT for something fun, so I made an app that writes Instagram captions using just an image—including puns, jokes, and hashtags. It usually gets the captions right and I’ve been pretty astonished by how funny some of them are. It’s pretty fun to play with.
How it works is you pick any photo (no sign-in required) and the app will generate 4 caption ideas within a few seconds. From those you can tap your favorite caption to edit, copy, or share it to Instagram. You can also choose "More Like This" if you'd like more variations of a specific caption. If you’re not happy with any of the 4 you can tap the retry button to generate 4 more.
There's a paid component (because running AI models is expensive), but I'm sharing a promo code for 1 week free of Unlimited captions.
P.S. I understand the importance of privacy for people's photos, so Jester does not keep or store any images at all.

Wow, this one is quite different from all the stable diffusion + GPT-3 wrappers since it detects images. Curious, does it use Yolo?
