@max_savonin1 Yes, the message can be customized inasmuch as the information you include in the title/subject line of the submission and the form fields you choose to include. The format of the actual data is essentially the same as any submitted form. Also, this release provides for syncing calendar events from form submissions.
Currently conditional logic for integrations is not within the scope of this release, however this, creating tasks (which currently isn't a high demand use case) and building a custom app/analysis tool within Teams can be considered future feature requests. On the privacy front, users can elect to send messages to a certain team and/or a private channel within Microsoft Teams, so only authorized or chosen users can view/manage the incoming data. Also, you have the option to select which specific form fields get passed through to your Teams channel or chat so sensitive information is not included in your Teams update.
Those who follow me know. I'm expanding my coffee chain. I'm very upset about Microsoft's latest situation. My whole system crashed with the update, but thanks to my IT people, they fixed the problem. Microsoft is such a big company that it has us hooked.
By the way, I was using teams for my company and this move by Jotform is very appropriate.

@zanereed596 Microsoft Teams was one of the most requested integrations from Jotform customers. When you use the Teams integration, you can choose where in your Teams workspace to send form submissions: a public channel, a private channel, or a specific chat. You can also use the integration to schedule a meeting in your Teams and Outlook calendars.
You can customize the notifications you receive through the integration to include specific text, form fields, and action buttons.
We will have metrics on how the integration affects users' efficiency, but there's no longer any need to copy submission data from an email or your Jotform Inbox into Teams. Now, the integration will send data to Teams automatically.

@mather_marker The integration doesn't customize based on form/submission type. However, since it's built to send form submissions to a specific channel or chat within Teams, you could workaround by creating/customizing those on the Teams end and direct your form types to those new channels/chats to sync them up.

Interesting launch but isn't this the same thing that Zapier does for Teams? Honestly, I'm curious how well it'll stack up against existing solutions out there, I've had mixed experiences with these auto-integration tools, sometimes they complicate things more. let's see how it performs, but just because it's new doesn't mean it's better 👀
@biomedarchitect Jotform's Microsoft Teams integration does have some advantages over using Zapier. It's a native integration — you don't need a Zapier account to integrate the two tools. There's no third-party middle-manager app linking the two systems to each other — they interact directly. Setting up the integration is extremely simple. Users can easily enable it with just a couple of clicks in their form's Publish menu.

Is this really gonna help with team efficiency tho seems a bit overhyped to me, how do you handle data privacy and security with all these form submissions going straight into Teams, maybe you guys should focus on making the integration with other platforms better too, curious to see how it actually performs in real-world scenarios
@acheteurpro Data that flows through Jotform's Microsoft Teams integration is protected by both Jotform's and Microsoft Teams's privacy measures. The integration is authenticated via Microsoft's authentication flow, and all data is sent using Microsoft's secure data transfer protocols.
Users control where in Microsoft Teams submissions are sent. You determine who sees the data in Teams via channel permissions and Teams privacy settings.

The integration will save time for users who regularly have to move form submission data from their email to Teams channels or chats. It also centralizes notifications — now, a user won't have to check their email to be notified of a form submission but can stay in their Teams workspace.
