I've been using Jumbo since the "very" beginning and I can't stop recommending it to my friends. The amount of personal info I was sharing was just overwhelming. Now, with Jumbo, having the ability to control what I want to share is now just a tap away; no more hidden pages ✌ Thanks, Jumbo 🤗
I'm really proud to share the latest privacy tools our team has built.
When we launched Jumbo last year, we had a goal of making it as simple and accessible as possible to exercise your right to privacy. We have made significant progress on that front, and Jumbo 2 is now available on iOS and Android. https://download.jumboprivacy.com/
With Jumbo, you can scan and protect yourself across major sites and apps that pose large risks to your privacy and security, like Google, Facebook, Twitter, Amazon, LinkedIn, and more. Instead of finding the 20+ separate, sensitive privacy settings on some of these sites on your own, Jumbo will quickly find the ones that are a risk to you personally, and allow you to fix them with one button.
We are also excited to show you new ways to control your security and protect your privacy built into Jumbo 2.
Jumbo 2 has advanced features like a powerful Tracker Blocker, that will prevent over 400 of the largest ad trackers from tracing your steps online as you browse on your device. You'll be informed of just how many trackers have attempted to follow you.
Our new Data Breach scan feature allows Jumbo to monitor the dark web for customers' financial and ID data like credit cards, Social Security number, or passport breaches.
You can now protect yourself on more apps : Amazon, Instagram, and LinkedIn are now part of our offerings, in addition to Google, Facebook, and Twitter. We are going to be adding more soon and would love to hear which ones in particular you would appreciate.
We believe all these features can help provide some privacy peace-of-mind for our customers.
Thanks for supporting our mission and helping us build a sustainable business. We would love to get your feedback, you can reach the whole team at support@jumboprivacy.com.

Thank you!
I find it a bit ironic that an app like this fetches my clipboard right as I open the app. Makes one wonder...
Can't add screenshots in comments, but here's a Dropbox link:
@rolandleth Hey Roland! Good questions.
First, let me tell you what we use the pasteboard for, and then what we do to make that as secure as possible.
We do use the pasteboard to help with attribution, so we know where users were coming from. This all has to do with the fact that there isn’t a good mechanism for passing data from a website to an app (assuming the app was just downloaded.) So this is able to give us a source, what was the most useful in getting people to us.
A second example: We have a flow to get to the app where a user does a dark web scan on the web first. We want to show we can provide value before they download the app. Then we don’t want the user to have to enter in their email address again.
For all of this, we encrypt this data before placing it in the pasteboard. Upon app open, we attempt to decrypt it inside of the app. If that fails (as it would for all content not placed by us,) we ignore it.
We know we can do better here, so we are making a change that it will only read the pasteboard once at first app open. We appreciate that you’re raising concerns and keeping us honest.
It’s great that iOS 14 is shining a light on this practice, and we’re evaluating any other options also introduced with iOS 14 that would allow us to do the above things in a way that raises fewer concerns.
@pierrevalade Thanks for the detailed explanation!
I don't understand what the clipboard has anything to do with passing data from a website or attribution. If I tap a link on the web that takes me to the App Store to install your app, there's no clipboard involvement. The fact that it says Pasted from Safari is a coincidence, I just wrote some gibberish in the address bar and copied it for the purpose of taking the screenshot.
Your example makes sense, but that's because you previously put the content in the clipboard. Seeing Pasted from Jumbo wouldn't really concern me, even though it would still be unexpected.
The fact that you didn't mention this anywhere before someone stumbled upon it, makes it just that little bit harder to build further trust; human nature 101, I guess.
I've been using Jumbo for over a year now, and Jumbo Privacy 2 is a huge leap forward! This redesign is so much easier to use, and way more powerful than the earlier iterations. It's incredibly helpful to digging up privacy settings in a wide range of accounts. I can't recommend it highly enough.
@pierrevalade It has been incredible watching and being a part of this journey as a user! This is the first time i’ve felt peace-of-mind when it comes to my online privacy- not to mention I’m loving the sleek new design. Congrats 🥳 🍾
The promotion video is SUPER! I use Jumbo to keep track of facebook's and Google's well hidden privacy settings, which the app allowed users to do from the start.
Now Jumbo 2 introduces a "Tracker Blocker" but I have to ask: how does it compare to Blokada? Blokada blocks ads, trackers, web and app analytics. I've been using it for close to a year. It also shows you all the servers that your phone's apps reach out to and you can choose to block any of them from that point onwards.
Is there any reason to use Jumbo over Blokada?
By the way, it really cool and generous to let early adopters use the new features free of charge :) I wonder what happens if I uninstall and reinstall the app or get a new phone though... There's no way to make a Jumbo account so how will it know whether I'm an early adopter?
Awesome product! Been using it since the original launch. Each feature is welcomed and it makes me finally feel like I’m “somewhat” in control of my online presence now.
@vladimir_bertrand "peace of mind", exactly what we are trying to bring back on the internet. It's a long journey in front of us, thanks for your support.
I wholeheartedly support privacy initiatives, but I wish your website provided more info about what Jumbo Privacy is.
Also, do you have a desktop version of this in mind? ?makers
