@pomajp Hi Jonathan, Jumpshare for Teams is under development. For discount on bulk licenses, please email us at hello@jumpshare.com with the number of licenses you would like to purchase.
This has been my go-to app for sharing files and screenshots for the last year and a half. I use it to quickly share screenshots and zip files with clients and fellow designers. I also use it to share logo proposals with clients because the web browser versions looks awesome.
@joe_blau There are many reasons. Jumpshare and Jumpshare Plus has a ton of unique and power user features. There are many I don't even use. However, some of the stuff I really like are:
- Because Jumpshare Plus offers custom urls, so I can use http://files.larkef.com/filename.
- I also like the Custom Branding option so people see my logo when they open the links and files; I think it looks professional.
- I send a lot of logo proposals to clients and they can view it right in their web browser and Jumpshare just makes it look really nice.
@ourielohayon Hi Ouriel, that’s a great question.
Yes, speed definitely. That’s our primary strength. You just drop anything to the menu bar or use a hotkey to upload your work and instantly share it with anyone; your team, clients, or friends. You don’t have to wait for upload to finish before sharing. Your recipients will see the file as soon as uploading is finished. Everything works in real-time. Apart from this, we’ve spent 3 years building our powerful conversion engine which ensures that almost anything you share can be viewed online; documents, spreadsheets, powerpoints, photoshop files, RAW images, vector, fonts, etc. We use HTML5 for showing preview in the browser and if HTML5 is not detected (in older browsers), then we use Flash as a fallback.
When we started building Jumpshare, the goal was to make file sharing as simple as possible while also empowering the user with the most advanced file sharing options, so that every sender is in full control over their file sharing experience.
@nakodari what exactly does the 'Jumpshare Hotkey' do? I have been trying to use it with different files, but it doesn't do anything. The only place it has worked is in Google Chrome, where it will upload a link to Jumpshare. I was an avid Droplr user, but with their new update they have left a lot of things not working properly. One of those things was a global shortcut to upload to the service. Hoping this is what the 'Jumpshare Hotkey' is supposed to do...
@ourielohayon@nakodari So many competitors around. Dropbox of course, but infinit.io is actually even more similar and they are very competitive in speed performances. Btw, love the UI. Good luck guys!
@gioismeyo Hi Nick, Jumpshare Hotkey is a special hotkey that works with selected apps. Suppose you’re working on a design in Photoshop and want to share it quickly to get feedback from your team; just press the Jumpshare Hotkey, the image will be uploaded and a shareable link copied to your clipboard. This special hotkey works with Photoshop, Chrome and Safari right now. We plan to expand it to cover some of the most popular apps for OS X so that users can share any content instantly!
Hi everyone,
We just launched an all-new Mac app that allows you share files quickly from the comfort of your desktop with a simple drag and drop to the menu bar. Now you can auto-upload screenshots, email files directly from the app, and share work even faster with built-in screenshot annotation, screen recording, and note-taking tools.
While similar apps exist, Jumpshare stands out because we support collections (and nested folders), have the ability to view over 200 file formats online, and allow you to track your shared files.
The best part? Everything works in real-time! When you share files, your recipients can see upload progress at your end. The moment upload completes, the preview appears instantly in the file viewer. It feels magical!
All features mentioned above are for the Free plan. Jumpshare Plus offers additional features, such as, custom branding, advanced sharing options, Analytics, and more. Check out the complete list of features here: https://jumpshare.com/plus

Heard about it a while ago. Never used it. Just signed up and it was an amazing tool. Recommending to my design and content team at @Cloudways. Great work @nakidari.
@nakodari is a seasoned entrepreneur and takes pride in great design and well thought out functionality. His product - Jumpshares shows all of this qualities.
Wonderful experience.
Fantastic product. Might I suggest a feature? I don't always need to upload the image once I've captured and added in some annotations. Having the ability to annotate and simply drag the image out and on to my desktop would be very useful.
@esbvn Hello Esteban, yes we have a free plan and unlike Droplr, we don't delete your files after 7 days. Our advantages over Droplr are as follows:
- Supports multiple files and folder uploads
- Preview over 200 file formats online without installing any software
- Real-time sharing
- Share via email directly from the app (with advanced options)
- Expire links after x number of days, views or downloads
- Disable download so recipient can only preview the files
- Powerful In-depth Analytics dashboard
- Track shared files
- Collections
- Jumpshare Inbox (allow anyone to send you files without signing up for an account)
and more...
You can take a quick tour here: https://jumpshare.com/tour :)
@esbvn I would add the option to double click on the screenshot I've upload it to open it in my browser, instead of having to copy the link and pasting it in my browser - great work!
@piero_ruiz Hi Pedro, currently we've no plans to make it behave similiar to Airdrop. Our goal is to make file sharing really fast and easy. However, if you upload your files, you can access them from any device where you have Jumpshare app installed. And with our iPhone app (coming soon!) you will be able to upload, access and share files on the go!
I am using Jumpshare for quite a long time, I find it really handy to share screenshots with my remote fellows.
Oh and with this new version, annotation is making life a lot easier. Though having issues with video processing.
@frazahmed Hi Fraz, glad to hear you love the screenshot annotation feature. We use it all the time internally to collaborate on designs. It has made communication much easier. Regarding video processing, our servers were busy converting hundreds of large videos earlier today which is why you were facing slow processing time. We just checked now and all videos have been successfully converted. Please let us know if everything is up and running at your end. Happy to help!
@sonubabeats Hi Sonuba, CloudApp and Droplr are similar to each other, so most of our unique features against Droplr apply here, too. The single biggest difference that you may appreciate right away is our far more generous free plan. There is no debilitating limit like 10 files per day.
We go several steps further than CloudApp by allowing multiple files and folder uploads, support collections (and nested folders), real-time sharing, over 200 file formats previews in the browser, and a whole lot more. Jumpshare is the more complete file sharing service!
