Hey all, this is a new competitor to Uber and Lyft that just launched in the New York City area. As you guys may know, Uber has been in the news lately in NYC for an effort to give drivers a union-esque organization backed by the company, due to driver frustration: http://associationsnow.com/2016/... Juno (http://gojuno.com) is taking a different approach. The founders' goal is to build an ethical company that treats drivers right. Drivers will own 50 percent of the founding shares of Juno, and the company takes take lower commissions, while treating drivers with transparency and respect. The benefit for riders? The company is eyeing really high standards. Juno is only accepting existing Uber and Lyft drivers with a rating of 4.70 and above (the top 30 percent or so of Uber/Lyft drivers), while ensuring they're driving the newest cars. So far, there are 10,000 drivers on the service. Will be interesting to see how this one goes. Thanks for reading!
