In a world of one-size-fits-all Slackbots, I was delighted to find Kaapi to help make my team's asynchronous standup more straightforward for engineers and more useful for the product team that depends on those updates. Using Kaapi, it's super easy to identify blocked teammates and know if we're going to reach our sprint goals.
Kappi is highly customizable and built by an engaged, caring team. While I originally was looking for a simple standup bot, with the watercooler convo starters and the feedback surveys, I've gotten a tool that does so much more to empower our remote team. 💙

Lemme tell you a little story. In 2013, we founded a local services marketplace. 2015 was a rocket-ship. Raised $5 Million in VC. Expanded to 3 cities. Hired 250+ employees. 8000+ service experts on the supply side. 1000 customers / day on the demand side. #1 market share. Everything was going great.
Until it wasn’t
We had no product-market fit. And bad unit economics. We ran out of money. And had to lay off 99% of our team in 2 months. We shut down all offices and moved back to an apartment.
Our list of mistakes is huge. But our people mistakes were the worst. Those still pinch us the most. When the shit hit the fan, we were at my worst. Froze like a deer in headlights. As leaders, we should have listened to my people more. Should have spent more time in aligning everyone on company goals. Get to know them beyond daily tasks. Slow down a bit and introspect a bit more.
And this is exactly why we built Kaapi. It’s what we would have loved to use as a manager, and hope you do too. It's kinda amazing that Kaapi is already used by 100s of startup leaders like you. We are a team of just us two founders, and we plan to keep it small. Which means every customer gets dedicated support directly from us.
