For years we’ve tested countless of task and project management apps, and none of them has stuck.

I stumbled upon Kairn when Wunderlist shut down, and I'm extremely lucky to be part of the first users. Its Quick Capture is a breeze, and if you use Notion, you must add it to your stack. Its built-in integration makes projet management blazingly fast. Kairn is Notion's best friend.

Nice concept and design. I feel that not every mind is made to do task without reminder notification. Anxiety of keep checking the app in lack of no notification creates more problem than creating a solution. There must be something right about the majority of the world is following. Notification could have offered as option so person dont have to rely on two different systems. iOS app need a search. Good luck.

Indeed for now we send reminders via Slack. Every morning (week day), our users receive a little summary of what they've planned to do for the day. Plus we have an iOS widget that gives them always easy to access their next 3 must do.
Reminders are something we'll further explore as we dive into our gCal integration 👀.
Notifications are currently used when you receive a task or when a task you shared gets updated to cut down on follow-up needs.
And yep our iOS is currently in testflight, still building a lot 🏗

I will be following this closely, much needed tool as my head is swamped by tasks coming in from multiple sources, is a Chrome extension part of the roadmap?
Hey @marcaime, thanks for your support, if you use a Mac we have better than a Chrome extension, the Quick Capture. It catches the URL of the page you're in and adds it to your task, task you create in seconds with a keyboard shortcut. Give it a try 🔥

I'm curious, are you sticking exclusively to Mac? Also, we use Shortcut https://shortcut.com/ for our PM, any integrations in the roadmap soon? :)
Hi @stefani_kovachevska, Kairns works on all OS on the web and we have native apps for macOS and iOS. Noted for your request to integrate Shorcut, it can be done with Zapier now and we plan to enable other integration tools such as Make (Integromat)

Hey @madu 👋 We're so happy that you love Kairn, we have a lot coming thanks to all the feedback gathered during the last months
I tried so many apps for "getting more productive" none really stick with me... because I treat them as a brain dump and never look back at it.
But not with Kairn, it actually helps me tick stuff out of the list, and also have an overview of all the different projects. I really like that it's quickly available with a shortcut everywhere I need it.
