So many creative projects need an affordable, portable, HD display. So few of us know how screens really work. So @TeamKano created the Screen Kit, 1280x800, for $109. Thoughts? http://kano.me/screen

@alexnklein what do you think about not having to have a screen? the next generation of interaction design and innovation will come from this I believe

@mossibat Fwaah, great question. Haptic and holographic UX has a lot of potential but don't think screens are going away any time soon. One question I'd throw out there – have we created a blue-light-pandemic by designing all the world's Displays to shine like the sun? Have noticed real improvements in my focus and sleep since starting to use https://justgetflux.com/

@alexnklein Definitely yes! I've had to declare my bedroom a no-phone zone since it was destroying my sleep. I can now easily work 18-hour days with full energy. I don't think we are done with displays or ever will be, but I feel there should be a better solution, we have 5 senses after all and sight is only one. Nevertheless, I love what @teamkano stands for and have been thinking about ways to implement them in the schools I am associated with in combination with code.org from @hadip

@mossibat Love what @hadip is doing. We've also been building creative coding apps that don't depend on hardware: www.art.kano.me
