I've been a 1password user for many many years, I cannot even count them anymore 😂. How would Passwarden be different from 1password? Maybe a page comparing the two services would be a good idea for people wondering why they should migrate to Passwarden.
@ajimix Our strong side is:
1. Duress mode that allows our customers to prevent theft of data when someone forces our user to enter his application password.
2. Realtime synchronization for all devices with no limits by the amount of devices.
3. Special pricing for MonoDefense. MonoDefense is a bundle of VPN Unlimited + Passwarden.
@nataly_shevchenko Thank you for your kind words, we are glad to hear you liked Passwarden. Our team will keep working hard to make sure that each and every user is getting the best service possible.
@julia_glazunova Thanks for your review, Julia. Passwarden makes it super easy to protect your passwords and data. The Migration feature allows you to export your passwords from various sources, such as browsers’ password autofill or other password managers, and import them to our Vaults. I've installed and used the app on my Mac and iPhone, like it so far. I'll use it in free mode for a few days to give it a test, if everything goes smoothly I'll consider the paid subscription.
Hey there, Hunters ✌️
Thanks a lot for taking time to check out Passwarden!
Like most of KeepSolid’s solutions, the idea behind Passwarden was born from our own pains. First of all, there's the notion that one should always use unique, strong passwords for all their accounts. But then how many of you actually follow this rule? We don’t have time and mental resources to come up with new passwords every time, let alone memorize them all! 🙈
On an unrelated note, how do you usually share with others your personal information, such as passwords, ID, banking info, if need be? Chances are, you use your common everyday messengers / emails for this. Why not - surely they are reliably secured, right? 🤔 Not really. Many of such services will protect your identity, but not the actual data transferred (then there’s also the problem of compromised devices and public networks).
These two situations are what Passwarden is designed to fix. But what exactly does it do?
✅Generates strong passwords and remembers them for you
✅Securely stores your personal data, such as account, banking, and payment info
✅Enables protected data sharing between devices
✅Duress mode allows you to specify which data to hide in case someone forces you to provide them with access to Passwarden
✅Two-Factor Authentication protects your device from unauthorized access
✅Employs AES-256 and ЕС р-384 data encryption - not even our devs have access to your information
✅Supports a variety of platforms and allows for unlimited device connections per account
✅Offers you KeepSolid’s signature 24/7 support to address any requests or questions you have
Give Passwarden a try, and please let us know what you think in the comments below.
Thanks again, you are the best! 🥳
?makers So, let's say I need a strong password for an account. How exactly do I use Passwarden to generate it, how is it stored, and how to have your app autofill the password once I need it?
@new_user_149a5749e2 Thanks for your questions. It’s really easy to start using our password manager! All you have to do is download Passwarden on your device (or use our web-based application), create a new account, and come up with a Master password. After that, you will have access to all features, including the Password Generator and the Autofill options. You can find more info on our website - www.keepsolid.com/passwarden/help
@keepsolids Thank you. Usually security tools are not welcomed if it is not open source. Commmunity says "security by obscurity is no security at all". Can you share your views?
@wilsonbright We understand your concerns, you'd like to secure your passwords from EVERYONE, even from Passwarden employees. We’ve got you covered! All data encryption in our app happens on the client side, meaning that your information is only ever visible to you and from your profile.
As a maker and a person who was involved in the development of Passwarden I can definitely say that we made this product with maximum security in mind and we are sure that our users will be very happy with it and won't be worried about losing their data. All your passwords are secured on all devices with the possibility to share with other users, this is amazing!
