@ronsheridan Has definitely worked for me

Love this app. Makes me far more accountable to healthy habits than personal streaks alone. Thank you @amittm @justinkan @damienkan @omarjalalzada

I'm a long-time @coachdotme user (@coachtony rocks). Kin seems very similar, glad to see renewed interest in this space. Help people change their habits, and we'll change the world!

Looks like a great app @justinkan . Nice work. ATB!
Justin Kan
@ronabraham_blr Thank you :)
The onboarding is super smooth. Holding a habit button down to complete was unexpectedly satisfying. ?makers are there plans to allow for The Kin community to reach out to other using the app for accountability vs just friends?
Justin Kan
@gabe__perez We might add discovery soon!
@justinkan that'd be awesome!
A community member on Twitter is curious how creators can apply to create a course on the app or if that's currently open for submissions.
Omar Jalalzada
@gabe__perez Yes they can! please reach out to me via omar[at]kinapp.co

Hey everyone! I've been on a quest to improve my mental and physical well-being so I can present the best version of myself to the people around me. Amongst other things, this quest led me to start building Kin with @amittm, @damienkan, and @omarjalalzada We have personally experienced the profound benefits of developing and maintaining healthy habits— they helped us be more healthy, mindful, and grounded while navigating all the triumphs and challenges of our personal lives. That's why we created Kin to help us in our journey but also share it as a gift with the rest of the world. We've been beta testing this with our friends so far and received valuable feedback. Now, we're really excited to invite the Product Hunt maker community as our collaborators as we build a product that could positively impact many lives. Give the app a try, send us feedback via the built-in chat, or send an email to feedback@kinhabits.com Thank you and looking forward to hearing from you! Use the chat to ask us any questions, provide feedback, or share stories about your journey in building/breaking habits.

@eugenehp I'm glad it resonate with you. Accountability is a very powerful tool to build consistency and we're learning a lot about different ways to approach it. Let us know if you have any feedback!

Big fan of Kin - have been using for some time now to improve my meditation, exercise, and eating habits, and it actually works! I was using spreadsheets / giving friends a dollar every time I slip, but this basically replaces all that and makes it a ton easier. The accountability is real... Highly recommend!
Justin Kan
@hariananth Means a lot Hari - thanks!
Markus Hafellner
Was intrigued by the nice design and concept, but put off by comments in the play store that this is basically yet another app harvesting for phone numbers to "connect you to your friends".
Omar Jalalzada
@mhafellner Thanks for the feedback Markus! We decided to use phone numbers because it makes it easier to find other friends on Kin via your contact list. We have no intention of storing or harvesting your information. That being said, we hear your feedback and will be exploring alternative methods in the near future.
Pavan Trikutam
I've tried so many tried so many apps and methods to track my habits and stay consistent. Nothing has really stuck so far, but this app looks like exactly what I need. Can't wait to try it!
Justin Kan
@ptrikutam Let me know how you go!
Kingsong Chen
Looks super cool!
Stella Yu
I consider myself a connector who encourages community and group achievements. I'd like to organize a group of friends and try the app altogether. What do you suggest? Have them download via PH or I send my group of friends an email with the link to PH? Thoughts on this?
Omar Jalalzada
@stellayu Hi Stella, you can create a chat within the app and then invite your friends.
Zachary Snader
Excited to try this out! Is the comment with email for 50% off thing still valid? If so.. 419@aries.gg :)
Omar Jalalzada
@duulzach Added you to our list to send out the promo, please stay tuned!

I've been using Kin for months and it's helped me stay more consistent with my workouts and build a new meditation practice. Design is simple and beautiful!
Justin Kan

Tess Murphy
Kin provided an easy and straight forward way for me to implement habits I've been wanting to incorporate into my daily routine (like working out and writing more). I also found friends who wanted to achieve similar goals and the app helps facilitate that light social accountability. A beautifully designed app that helps you live a better life.
Justin Kan
@tess_murphy Thank you :) And yes
Dilan Dane 🎈
Congratulations guys! TBH I cannot think of a better ROI investment for humanity than helping people build better habits. So excited for this space!
Omar Jalalzada
@dilan I couldn't agree more! It's the smallest and most fundamental building blocks of our potential. It's can be simple to comprehend but very difficult to implement, we hope to make it a bit easier everyday.

LOVE this Justin! and team :)

Kin is an app that lives on my home screen and that I use everyday *because if works*. Before Kin, I used to think it was impossible for anyone to stick to a healthy habit every single day. There are probably some days where I forget to brush my teeth! 😬😬😬 Since using Kin, I’ve worked out 366 out of 367 days and I’ve meditated 326 days in a row. Thank you to the hardworking Kin team for helping me significantly upgrade my life.
Omar Jalalzada
@samclamdisco This is amazing Johnny! I'm really glad it's working out for you.
