Kitemaker is a super-fast issue tracker built for teams and not managers. We have spent months working closely with startups to create a new type of issue tracker that helps team engage and improves collaboration.
I loved the keyboard commands π Not really used to use it in other apps but the tool itself became a great teacher and in just 5 minutes I felt empowered by it.
Cross sharing of tickets per board might be interesting to have. Same would be to integrate with slack like this (https://shipped.dev/?ref=product...) as it becomes simpler to work across the tools where collaboration actually happens.
Overall the fastest tool Iβve tried to manage work. Looking forward to seeing your planned improvements! πππππππππππ
Congrats on the launch! We're using Kitemaker for tracking issues at Mailflow. We love that it's way faster than using Github Issues or a Trello board.
Hey Kitemaker team!
First impression is that it looks really great. I see you mention integration with GitHub, will integration with GitLab be supported? Would be great to see the roadmap.
What is the pricing model?
@jknlsn Hi Jake! Thanks for the feedback!
Yes, GitLab integration is in the plans, we simply started with GitHub since that seems to have the largest user base. We don't have a date yet, but if you've registered you'll get our changelog.
We're free right now, but will add pricing soonish. It will then feature a free tier to enable teams to try it out, and a quite standard pricing per monthly active users.
This is really great - fast and a simple and clean UI! Some tips here for you guys too to increase conversions on your landing page -- https://app.usebubbles.com/d3e02...
Registered! It seems to have a lot of potential. Although I feel that is missing the opportunity to manage more than one team.
Overall I like it! Faster to use than other tools, better descriptions of the issues, giving more context to them and feels similar to be playing a game with so many "tricks"
Good luck!
@solerbor Thanks for the feedback! The tool is always improving, so if it isn't right for you now, then please come back and try it again later. To manage more than one team today, you can create a space for each team.
Hey! π
After months of development, we're finally ready to show everyone what we have been working on!
Kitemaker was built after years of working in and managing high performing teams. We noticed that in general people didn't like the Jira's and Trello's and getting a team with designers, developers, and product people engaged in the tools was hard.
Therefore, we built Kitemaker to have a great user experience, so everyone on the team will like to use it, but also to not make it about managing people or work, but focusing on improving collaboration between team members.
To get started, you can either import your issues from Github or create a new space by importing your Trello board.
Head over to www.kitemaker.co to start using it for free today! π
We'll be here to answer your questions :)
Currently using Kitemaker to map out my roadmap for a new service. It's incredibly fast compared to anything out there. I really enjoy CMD + K to learn new shortcuts. Thanks for a great tool
@giulio_maselli Thank you! We haven't done that yet, but it seems very simple to build as we already have importers for Github Issues and Trello. We'll take a note of the idea, and see what we can do. In the meanwhile, if you want us to do a one-off import, you can e-mail us at hi@kitemaker.co with the details and we'll make it happen :)
Just signed up to track tasks and issues for a small creative digital marketing team with less than 10 clients. Very impressed with the speed and shortcuts. Currently having a hard tome figuring out how to change a background LOL plus noticed that we can't delete the hashtag once it's written on the issue. Hoping that you'll be on top of little things like that! Really grateful for a chance to be one of the first teams enjoying the tool for free. Highly recommend.
@anna_lysova Thank you for the feedback! Currently the background changes once a day, we plan to make it customizable, so look out for that. To edit/delete a label, simply press ctrl(cmd on mac)+e when you have a label picker open. Alternatively you can press the subtle "edit" icon when a label is focused in the picker.
Hope this help!
Scrolling through my ProductHunt feed I was super pleasantly surprised to see KItemaker hunted.
Kitemaker is fantastic. I've had the privildge of meeting @kitemaker a year ago and since then their progress has been staggering. The product has been getting regular updates and the developers are always responding super fast to any kind of feedback.
As for the product, after getting hooked to a Superhuman workflow, it has been a godsend. The shortcuts are intuitive and there are reminders of them exactly where you need them. The crazy amount of high quality integrations allows to take the discussion on the next level in every issue. It's like a crazy good mix of Notion, Superhuman and Trello. Actually, I'm pretty sure that in a few years people will come up with "Kitemaker for X".
Congrats on the hunt!
