Know — The future will not dread anymore.

Hello, we the makers of Know are CS undergrads just about to enter the corporate world. We started Know to bridge the gap between the expectations of a college student from his job life and the sheer reality of actually working out there in the corporate world. It's not unknown to anyone that every student faces a lot of confusion and distress in their school/college days while making career decisions. All they have to support these decisions are the half-baked opinions of their friends and family. While some of them might get lucky and truly appreciate their choices, many of them can fall prey to the depths of despair and regret, amplifying the confusion altogether. The most important thing to notice here is that students are incapable of making well-informed decisions not because they don’t have the resources but rather because those resources don’t provide the much-needed practical information. To test this we talked to many friends, cousins, and juniors in college, and the more we talked to them the more we realized how confused they were during their deciding phase and ultimately it all came down to how their last resort was googling random career choices or taking advice from some well-to-do distant cousin. The aftermath of all this was regret, disappointment in many of the cases since the information they received from the internet was more or less superficial and the suggestions from that distant cousin were, well, biased which makes sense since it's the perspective of a single person. That’s why we at Know, aim to deliver a platform that can help students to steer through all the confusion and ill-information and make a knowledgeable leap towards their future.
