I've spoken to another team that's exploring conversational/LLM ads. I appreciate that you're opening opportunities to monetize without charging users, but I'm unsure if this is too skeuomorphic.

@rrhoover we actually agree, and we're likely going to experiment a lot with net-new formats rather than just AI versions of what currently exists. Our goal is monetization for AI companies more broadly, which will require some innovative / very different formats rather than reskinning.

This looks legit, I actually had a similar idea before, but I assumed it would be more suited for ChatGPT, given their ecosystem of GPTs. I’m curious though, how did you tackle the cold start problem for a platform like this? It seems like a classic platform business, requiring a balance between advertisers, app builders, and app users to scale effectively.

Really cool way to monetize, we've considered using Stripe's native integration (https://docs.stripe.com/agents) but this is a great way to have the product stay free for longer. Do you integrate directly into the vercel AI SDK?
